• The equipment must not be used by persons weighing over 150 kg.

• Make sure the equipment is unplugged before carrying out any assembly or maintenance procedures.

• Do not attempt any servicing or adjustments other than those described in this guide. Everything else must be left to someone familiar with the maintenance of electromechanical equipment and authorized under the laws of the country in question to carry out maintenance and repair work.

• This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

DANGER:

Improper connection of the equipmentgrounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product - if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.

Start by unpacking the equipment and check that you have the following parts:

* in the spare part list). Save the assembly kit, as you may need it e.g. for eventual adjustments.

As for the assembly of the device, we recommend two grown-up persons. If necessary, the packing material can be used to cover the floosr on the assembly site.

Remove the carton frame from the plywood bottom with e.g a screwdriver. Do not lift the rear frame from the upper fringe of the ventilation hole!

If necessary, please contact your dealer with the model, equipment serial no. and spare part no. of the missing part. You’ll find a spare part list at the back of this guide. The directions left, right, front and back are defined as seen from the exercising position.

FRONT FRAME SUPPORT

Fasten the front frame support to the front frame with two allen screws ( A ) and base plates ( B ).

FRONT FRAME

1.

Connect the cords from the front and rear frame tube with each other.

2.

Connect the frame tubes with each other.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not damage the console cord!

Tightly fasten the frame tubes with four allen screws ( C ),

HANDLES

1. Unscrew the fastening screw of the plastic cover at the upper end of the front frame tube and turn the cover aside.

3.

Thread the adjustment key cord through the round console support tube in the front tube so that the cord comes out from the upper end of the console support tube.

CAUTION!

Do not let the cords fall into the front frame tube!

Push the handle onto the shaft simultaneously pulling upwards the adjustment key cord from the console support tube.

Set the handle at the end of the shaft and thread the adjustment key cord from the handle over the shaft into the front frame tube.

5.

Lock the handle by fastening the base plate ( D ) and the allen screw ( E ) at the end of the shaft.

6. Unscrew the fastening screws of the handle plastic covers from above and below. Place the plastic covers onto the handle fastening sites and fasten them with screws ( H ).

CONSOLE

Push the right pedal crank forward to push the fastening tube at the front of the pedal crank into the handle.

Fasten the fastening tube to the handle with the 2.

screw (G) and plug (F). Place the decorative plug (F) over the screw.

3.

Repeat instructions 1 and 2 for the left handle and pedal crank.

4.

Push the console fastening piece at the upper end of the front frame tube, as shown in the picture. Fasten the fastening piece with a screw ( I ).

5.

Turn the plastic cover of the front frame tube back to its place and fasten it with a screw.

Connect the cords from the front frame tube to the corresponding console connectors.

Push the console onto its place at the end of the console support tube. Fasten the console with 3 fastening screws ( J ).

POWER CORD

Plug the socket end of the transformer cord into the connector, just above the rear support in the centre of the frame, and the other end into the wall socket. To prevent damage to the cord, we recommend you tie it to the protector next to the connector.

NOTE!

• The device must be connected to a grounded wall socket. Do not use extension wires when connecting the device to the power source.

• Make sure the power cord does not run underneath the device.

DANGER: Always switch off the power and uplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:

1) An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use, and before carrying out any maintenance or repair procedures.

2) Do not operate under blanket or other combustive material. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

EXERCISING

Working out using an elliptical trainer is excellent aerobic exercise, the principle being that the exercise should be suitably light, but of long duration. Aerobic exercise is based on improving the body ‘s maximum oxygen uptake, which in turn improves endurance and fi tness. The ability of the body to burn fat as a fuel
