4.2.5 Safety Instructions for Cleaning and Disinfection of the Device
WARNING
Risk of electrical shock to the user caused by presence of potentially conductive liquids:
Prior to any cleaning and disinfection procedure, the power cable must be disconnected from the power supply at all times.

Risk of unintended operation for touchscreen-equipped devices:
Before cleaning and / or disinfecting your device, turn off the touchscreen via the Touchscreen

Risk of electrical shock to the user and device damage caused by inappropriate processing procedures:
The device is not suited for any kind of mechanical and / or thermal decontamination procedures such as autoclaving, steam sterilization, etc.
WARNING
Risk of electrical shock to the user and device damage caused by excessive amounts of liquids:
Never apply excessive amounts of liquids to your device. Do not immerse it in liquids of any substance.
Be conservative with all cleaning and disinfection solutions used to clean the device and never apply liquids directly to openings such as I/O interface ports.
CAUTION
Risk of device damage caused by usage of abrasive materials:
Your ADLINK device provides a surface finish that is sufficiently protected for the intended purpose.
However, do not use any abrasive materials for cleaning processes, e.g. brushes, sponges, or other objects with hard and / or rough characteristics. Doing so may lead to damage to the front side, the touch surface, or the housing surface. Never use e.g. sponges made of metal grafts or similar, or sharp/hard objects like knives, pencils etc. for cleaning purposes. Thoroughly follow all instructions provided in this chapter.
