NANO 2 – Status

6.1. Conferencing:

The conference bridge configurations can be accessed under Advance Features

>Conference. In this page, users could create, edit and delete conference bridges.

Nano2PBX supports up to 8 simultaneous PSTN or IP participants irrespective of the number of conference bridges.

Conference Bridge Settings

Extension

Configure the conference number for the users to dial into the conference.

Play Hold Music For First

Caller

If enabled, the Nano2PBX will play Hold music to the first participant in the conference until another user joins in. The default setting is "No".

Announce Callers Count on joining the Conference

If enabled, the caller will be announced to all conference participants when there the caller joins the conference. The default setting is "No".

Quiet Mode

If enabled, if there are users joining or leaving the conference, voice prompt or notification tone won't be played. The default setting is "No".

Working Scenario

By dialing the extension number configured in the above step will allow you to enter into

Conference Bridge. During the conference call, users can manage the conference from web

GUI.Log in Nano2PBX web GUI during the conference call, the participants in each conference bridge will be listed in the “System Status” Page you can kick out the participant by “ Click on to kick” a participant from the conference.

Important Note:

1.NanoPBX will initiate the conference call only with G711u-Law codec with 20ms latency. Please make sure you have enabled the same codec in all the conference IP phones

2. Audio Conference Bridge supports Max 8 users irrespective of the Number of Conference bridge.

3. “Quiet Mode” and “Announce Caller Count” Cannot be enabled at the same time.
