 A ATTENTION
A lightning surge arrester has been included with your current model
of A10 sliding gate operator to improve the system's resistance to
lightning and electrical surges. Please follow carefully the wiring
diagram for connecting this unit. For effective operation of this
protection device it is critical that the A10 operator is PROPERLY
EARTHED.
Besides ensuring that the mains supply to the operator has a proper
earth, it is also recommended to mount an earth spike right next to the
operator. Use a thick cable (4mm? to connect the earth spike to the
earth point of the lightning arrester module and operator.
