• Bu kullanım kılavuzunu her zaman cihazınızla birlikte muhafaza edin. Cihazınızı ödünç verdiğinizde bu kullanım kılavuzunu da cihazınızla birlikte verin.

• Kullanım kılavuzunu cihazınızı kullanmadan önce, yanık, elektrik çarpması, yangın veya yaralanma riskini azaltmak için dikkatlice okuyun ve cihazınızın

çalıştırılması, sorun giderilmesi ve temizliğiyle ilgili talimatlara uyun.

• Bu cihaz, 8 yaş ve üzeri çocuklar ve fiziksel, işitsel veya aklî yeteneklerinde kayıp olan veya tecrübe ve bilgi yoksunluğu

çeken kişiler tarafından denetim veya cihazın güvenli kullanımı ile ilgili talimatların verilmesi ve içerdiği tehlikelerin anlaşılması durumunda kullanılabilir.

• Çocuklar cihaz ile oynamamalıdır. Çocukların kapıya tutunup sarkmalarına izin vermeyin.

• Temizleme ve kullanıcı bakımı, gözetimsiz çocuklar tarafından yapılmamalıdır.

• Cihazı atığa çıkaracağınız zaman, fişini prizden çekin, oyun oynayan çocukların elektriğe kapılmalarını ve kendilerini cihazın içine kapatmalarını önlemek üzere bağlantı kablosunu

(mümkün olduğunca cihaza yakın bir yerden) kesin ve kapısını sökün.

• Manyetik kapı contalarına sahip bu cihaz, kapısında ya da kapağında yaylı kilide sahip (mandala) eski model bir cihazın yerine geçeceği zaman, eski cihazı bertaraf etmeden önce yaylı kilidin kullanım dışı olduğundan emin olun. Bu önlem, cihazın

çocuklar için bir ölüm tuzağı haline gelmesini engelleyecektir.

• UYARI: Ürünün dengesizliğinden kaynaklanabilecek zararlardan kaçınmak için, talimatlara uygun olarak ürün sabitlenmelidir.

• UYARI: Soğutucu ve izolasyon

üfleme gazı kolay tutuşur bir gazdır. Cihazın sadece yetkili bir atık imha merkezinde bertaraf edilmesi gerekir. Cihazı ateşe maruz bırakmayın.

• Soğutma gazı: Soğutma gazı izobütan (R600a) cihazın soğutucu devresinde içerilen, yüksek seviyede çevre dostu ancak yanıcı bir doğal gazdır. Cihazın nakliye ve kurulumu sırasında soğutucu devre bileşenlerinden hiçbirinin hasar görmemesine dikkat edin. Soğutucu gaz

(R600a) kolay tutuşabilir bir gazdır.

•

Dikkat: yangın riski.

Soğutucu devre hasar görürse: Açık ateş ve tutuşturucu kaynaklardan kaçının. Cihazın bulunduğu odayı iyice havalandırın. Ürün özelliklerini değiştirmek veya bu ürünü herhangi bir şekilde modifiye etmek tehlike arz eder.

• UYARI: Cihazın içerisinde yanıcı içeriği bulunan aerosol kutuları gibi patlayıcı maddeler bulundurmayın.

• Bu cihaz kapalı mekanlarda ev ve benzeri yerlerde kullanılmak

üzere tasarlanmıştır. Örneğin;

- Dükkanlarda, mağazalarda, ofislerde ve diğer çalışma ortamlarının personel mutfaklarında;

- Çiftlik evleri;

- Otel, motel ve diğer konaklama tesislerinin müşterileri tarafından odalarında kullanım;

- Yatak ve kahvaltı sunan yerler.

- Yiyecek içecek hizmeti ve benzer perakende olmayan uygulamalarda.

• Cihaz ticari ya da toplu kullanıma uygun değildir.

• UYARI: Cihazınız kullanım amacının dışında kullanılması hasar veya tehlikeli durum yaratabilir ve cihazın garantisinin iptaline sebep olur. Bu şartlarda oluşabilecek hasarlar kullanıcı tarafından karşılanır.

• Eğer besleme kablonuz prize uygun değilse, herhangi bir tehlikeyi önlemek amacıyla

besleme kablosu yetkili servis tarafından değiştirilmelidir.

• UYARI: Besleme kablonuz zarar görmüşse kablosu yetkili servis ya da yetkili kişiler tarafından değiştirilmelidir.

• Buzdolabınızın şebeke kablosuna topraklı özel fiş takılmıştır. Bu fiş en az 16 amper değerinde topraklı özel priz ile kullanılmalıdır. Evinizde böyle bir priz yok ise, uzman bir elektrikçiye yaptırınız.

• Cihazı sadece AC akımına ve topraklı prize bağlayın. Topraklama yapılmadan kullanma sonucu meydana gelebilecek zararlardan üretici firma sorumlu değildir.

• Olası elektrik çarpmalarını önlemek için cihazınızın elektrik prizindeki topraklama hattının ve elektrik kaçağı koruma devresinin uygun durumda olduğundan emin olun.

• Elektrik fişinin takılacağı priz gevşek ise, fişi takmayın. Elektrik

çarpması veya yangın riski söz konusudur.

• Cihazınızı asla aşağıdaki durumlarda kullanmayın:

• Cihaz, lambası, fiş veya elektrik kablosu hasarlı ise,

• Cihaz düşürülürse, gözle görülür hasar belirtisi varsa veya düzgün çalışmazsa,

• Cihaz, elektrikli parçalar görülecek şekilde hasar görmüşse,

• Cihaz ıslanmışsa, su veya diğer sıvıların içine düşmüşse, sel baskınına maruz kalmışsa, elektriksel parçaları suyla temas etmişse,

• Cihazdan garip bir ses, duman ve koku gelirse.

• Eğer bu durumlardan birisi tespit edilirse, hemen cihazınızın elektrik fişini prizden çekin ve yetkili servisle irtibata geçin.

• Hasarlı bir cihaz ya da cihazın hasarlı parçaları ciddi yaralanmalara ve yangına neden olabilir.

• Cihazın içinde kullanıcının müdahale edebileceği parçalar bulunmamaktadır. Cihazın içindeki elektrik bağlantılarına dokunulduğunda ve/veya cihazın elektriksel ve mekanik yapısı değiştirildiğinde elektrik çarpması tehlikesi vardır. Herhangi bir arıza meydana gelirse, cihazı

kendiniz tamir etmeye kalkışmayın. Aksi halde cihaz garanti kapsamı dışında kalacaktır.

• Üretici tarafından tavsiye edilmeyen aksesuarların kullanılması cihaz hasarına ve yaralanmalara neden olabilir.

• Cihazı yalnızca tip levhası üzerindeki bilgilere göre bağlanmalı ve çalıştırılmalıdır. Cihazı kullanmadan önce elektrik şebekenizin gerilim değerinin cihazın anma değerleri plakasında belirtilen değer ile uyumlu olduğunu kontrol edin.

• Cihaz sadece 220~240V /

50Hz tek fazlı alternatif akım güç kaynağından beslenmelidir.

Kullanıcının bulunduğu bölgedeki gerilim dalgalanmaları, gerilim bu aralığı aşacak derecede büyükse, güvenlik adına, buzdolabına mutlaka en az

350W'lık AC otomatik voltaj regülatörü uygulayın.

• Elektrik çarpması riskini önleyebilmek için cihazınızı açık hava koşullarında ve ıslak zeminler

üzerinde kullanmayın.

• Fişi prizden çıkartırken mutlaka fişten tutun ve dışa doğru çekin, kablodan çekmeyin.

• Cihaz beyan artık çalışma akımı

30 mA aşmayan bir artık akım cihazı (RCD) üzerinden beslenmelidir.

• Çoklu priz ve uzatma kablosu kullanmayın.

• Cihazı iç aydınlatma lambasının kapağı olmaksızın çalıştırmayın.

• Hasarlı, yırtılmış veya eskimiş kablolu fişi prize sokmayın.

Asla kabloyu çekmeyiniz, bükmeyiniz veya hasar vermeyiniz.

Ezilmiş veya hasar görmüş güç kablosu aşırı ısınıp yangına sebep olabilir.

• Bıçak ve benzeri sivri uçlu aletlerle buzu kırmayınız veya kazımayın.

• Herhangi bir elektrik çarpmasına sebebiyet vermemek için fişi prizden kesinlikle ıslak elle takıp

çıkarmayın

• Bu cihazın plastik bileşenleri yakınına sıcak nesneler koymayın.

• Gıda ürünlerini doğrudan arka duvardaki hava çıkışına doğru yerleştirmeyin.

• Önceden dondurulmuş gıdaları, dondurulmuş gıda üreticisinin talimatlarına uygun olarak muhafaza edin.

• Cihaz üreticisinin saklama önerilerine kesinlikle uyulmalıdır.

İlgili saklama talimatlarına bakın.

• Buzdolabınızın dondurucu bölmesine cam şişe ve kutulardaki asitli içecekleri kesinlikle koymayınız. Şişe ve kutular patlayabilir.

• Patlayıcı ve yanıcı maddeleri emniyetiniz açısından buzdolabınıza koymayın. Alkol oranı yüksek içkileri, cihazınızın soğutucu bölmesine ağızlarını sıkı bir şekilde kapatarak ve dik olarak yerleştirin.

• Dondurucu bölmesi içinde

üretilen buzu çıkarırken elinizin temas etmesinden sakının, buz yanıklara ve / veya kesiklere neden olabilir.

• Dondurulmuş yiyeceklere ıslak elle dokunmayın. Dondurma ve buz küplerini, dondurucu bölmesinden çıkarır çıkarmaz yemeyin.

• Dondurulan yiyecekler çözüldüğünde tekrar dondurmayın.

Gıda zehirlenmesi gibi sorunlara sebep olabileceğinden sağlığınız açısından tehlike yaratabilir.

• Cihazı doğrudan güneş ışığına maruz kalacağı bir yere yerleştirmeyin.

• Yanmakta olan mumları, lambaları ve çıplak ateşe sahip diğer nesneleri, cihazın ateş almaması için cihazdan uzak tutun.

• Cihaz normal evsel kullanımda gıda maddeleri ve/veya içecekleri bu kullanım kılavuzunda açıklandığı şekilde muhafaza etmek üzere tasarlanmıştır.

Cihaz ağırdır. Taşınırken dikkatli olunması gerekir.

• Elleriniz nemli/ıslak ise, ciltte kesiklere ve buz yanıklarına sebep olabileceğinden dondurucu bölümünden hiçbir şey çıkarmayın veya hiçbir şeye dokunmayın.

• Cihazın tabanını, çekmecelerini, kapılarını vb. asla üzerinde durmak veya destek olarak kullanmayın.

• Buz küplerini ve buzlu şekerleri doğrudan buzluktan çıkarır

çıkarmaz tüketmeyin, zira bu ağızda ve dudaklarda buz yanıklarına sebep olabilir.

• Eşyaların düşüp yaralanmalara veya cihazın hasar görmesine sebep olmasının önüne geçmek

• UYARI: Ambalaj malzemeleri boğulmaya neden olabilir. Çocukların erişebileceği yerlerden uzak tutun.

çekin.

• Aşağıdaki durumlarda cihazın fişinin prizden çekilerek elektriğinin kesildiğinden emin olun:

- Kurulum işleminden önce,

- Temizlik ve bakım işleminden

- Tamir işlemlerinden önce.

• Cihazı “Temizlik ve Bakım” bölümünde anlatıldığı gibi düzenli bir şekilde temizleyin. Cihazın temizlik ve bakımına başlamadan önce mutlaka cihazın fişini prizden çekin.

• Cihazınızı su dökerek yıkamayın.

• Cihazınızın iç ve dış kısmını ılık ve sabunlu su ile yumuşak bir bezle veya süngerle silin. Cihazı metal nesneler, buharlı temizleyici, uçucu yağlar, organik çözücüler veya aşındırıcı temizleyici maddeler ile temizlemeyin.

• Cihazı buz ve kardan temizlemek üzere keskin nesneler kullanmayın. Plastik bir kazıyıcı kullanın.

• UYARI: Elektrik çarpma tehlikesi! Cihazınızın içini, parçalarını ve aksesuarlarını temizledikten sonra iyice kurulayıp dolabınıza yerleştirin. Cihazınızı çalıştıracağınız zaman cihazınızın, aksesuarlarının ve parçalarının kuru olduğundan emin olun.

Cihazınızın elektrikli parçalarının içine su girmesi cihazınızda ciddi hasarlara sebep olacaktır.

• Buzdolabını taşırken ve yerleştirirken soğutucu gaz devresine zarar vermeyin.

• Taşınırken ürünün içerisindeki aksesuarların zarar görmemesi için aksesuarları sabitleyiniz.

• Cihazınızı taşırken ve kullanımınız sırasında, cihazınızı 45 dereceden fazla yatırmayın,

aksi takdirde kompresör hasar görecektir.

• Cihazınızda kapı kolu varsa, kapı kolundan tutup taşıma veya yer değiştirme yapmayın.

• Orijinal ambalaj ve köpükler, tekrar taşınma için (isteğe bağlı olarak) saklanabilir.

• Tekrar taşınma durumunda buzdolabınızı kalın ambalaj, bant veya sağlam iplerle bağlamalı ve ambalaj üzerindeki taşıma kurallarına mutlaka uymalısınız.

• Yer değiştirme ve taşınma sırasında önce buzdolabınızın içindeki hareket edebilen parçaları (raflar, aksesuarlar, sebzelik vs.) çıkartınız veya dolap içine bantlayıp sarsıntıya karşı sağlamlaştırınız.

Gereken Güvenlik Bilgileri

• Kurulum ve tamir işlemlerini her zaman Yetkili Servise yaptırın.

Yetkili olmayan kişiler tarafından yapılan işlemler nedeniyle doğabilecek zararlardan üretici firma sorumlu tutulamaz. Yetkili teknik servise ulaşmak için

İletişim Merkezi numarasını arayın. Kurulum işleminden sonra elektrik fişi kolayca erişilebilir olmalıdır. Buzdolabınızı kullanmaya başlamadan önce iletişim merkezi numarasını

• Sıcak parçalara (kompresör, kondansatör) temasın veya bu parçaların tutulmasının önüne geçmek, yangın riskini engellemek üzere uygunsa, ürünün arka tarafı duvara bakmalıdır.

• Ocak, fırın, kalorifer peteği ve soba gibi ısı kaynaklarından en az 50 cm, elektrikli fırınlardan ise en az 5 cm uzakta olmalıdır.

Cihazın havalandırması

• UYARI: Soğutma sisteminin verimliliğini artırmak ve enerji tasarrufu sağlamak üzere ısının dağılabilmesi için cihazın etrafında iyi bir havalandırma olması sağlanmalıdır. Bu sebeple,

Ayarlı Ayakların Ayarlanması

Buzdolabınızın düzgün ve sarsıntısız çalışması için ayarlanabilir ön ayakların uygun yüksekliğe getirilerek karşılıklı olarak dengelenmesi gerekir. Cihazın ayak ayarını yiyecekler dolaba yerleştirilmeden

önce aşağıdaki adımları uygulayarak yapabilirsiniz:

1. Buzdolabını yerine kaydırın.

2. Ayarlanabilir ayağı yere değinceye kadar (parmaklarınız veya uygun bir somun anahtarı ile)

çevirin.

3. Ayağı 1-2 kez daha döndürerek cihazın üstünü arkaya doğru yaklaşık 10-15 mm eğin. Bu, kapının kendiliğinden kapanmasına izin vererek, kapı contasının sürekli olarak kapalı olmasını sağlayacaktır.

4. Cihazı taşımak istediğinizde,

cihazın serbestçe kayabilmesi için ayağı tekrar yukarıya doğru çevirmeyi unutmayın. Yerini değiştirdikten sonra kurulumu tekrarlayın.

DİKKAT: Tekerlekler, döner olma-

dıklarından, sadece ileri veya geri yönde hareket için kullanılmalıdırlar. Buzdolabını yana doğru hareket ettirmek üzerinde bulunduğu zemine ve tekerleklere zarar verebilir.

Cihazı kullanmadan önce lütfen kulpu takınız.

Kapı kulplarını aşağıdaki adımları uygulayarak monte edebilirsiniz.

• NOT: Montaj işleminin aşağıdan yukarıya doğru gerçekleştirilmesi daha kolay olabilir. Alt kulpun montaj işlemi üst kulp için olan ile aynı olacaktır.

• Cihazı başarılı bir şekilde kurulduktan sonra, kullanmadan

önce her yerini temizlemeniz gerekir. Temizlik ayrıntılarını

"Temizlik ve bakım" bölümünde bulabilirsiniz.

4. Hızlı Soğutma

Hızlı Soğutma

Hızlı Soğutma özelliği yiyeceklerinizi çok daha hızlı soğutarak, daha uzun bir süre boyunca taze kalmasını sağlar.

• Bu işlevi etkinleştirmek için Hızlı Soğutma düğmesine basın. Düğmeye basınca ışık yanar ve soğutucu sıcaklığı ayarı 2°C gösterir.

• Hızlı Soğutma işlevi 6 saat geçtikten sonra otomatik olarak kapanır.

• Hızlı Soğutma işlevi etkinken, bu işlevi

Hızlı Soğutma veya Soğutucu düğmesine basıp, dondurucu sıcaklığını tekrar

5. Tatil

6. Alarm

Kapı rafı

• Yumurta, kutu içecekler, şişe içecekler ve paketli yiyeceklerin v.b. saklanmasına uygundur. Raflara çok fazla ağır eşya koymayın.

Alarm durumunda "Alarm" simgesi yanacak ve bir sinyal sesi duyulacaktır.

Alarmı silmek için "Alarm" tuşuna basın, bu durumda "Alarm" simgesi sönecek ve sinyal sesi kesilecektir.

Kapı Alarmı

Cihazınızın kapatılması

Cihazın uzun bir süre için kapatılması gerekiyorsa, cihazda küf oluşumunun önüne geçmek üzere aşağıdaki adımları uygulayın.

• Tüm yiyecekleri çıkarın.

• Elektrik fişini prizden çıkarın.

• Eritme işleminden sonra Temizlik ve bakım bölümünde anlatılan uyarıları dikkate alarak temizleyip nem ve koku oluşmasını engellemek için tüm kapıları açık bırakın.

Temizlik ve Bakım

• Cihazı “Temizlik ve Bakım” bölümünde anlatıldığı gibi düzenli olarak en az iki ayda bir temizleyin.

• Cihazın temizlik ve bakımına başlamadan önce mutlaka fişini prizden çekin.

• Cihazınızı su dökerek yıkamayın.

• Cihazınızın iç ve dış kısmını ılık ve sabunlu su ile yumuşak bir bezle veya süngerle silin. Yüzeyi çizmeleri muhtemel olduğundan keskin nesneler kullanmayın.

• Parçaları tek tek çıkartıp, sabunlu su ile temizleyin ve geri yerleştirmeden önce silerek tamamen kurulayın. Bulaşık makinasında yıkamayın.

• Temizlik için tiner, benzin, asit gibi yanıcı, parlayıcı ve eritici malzemeler asla kullanmayın. Bunlar cihazın yüzeyine zarar verebilir ve yangına sebep olabilirler.

• Eski buzdolabınız kilidi olan bir buzdolabıysa, atmadan önce kilidini kırın veya

çıkartın; çünkü çocuklar oynarken içine girerek kendilerini kilitleyebilir ve bir kazaya neden olabilir.

• Eski Soğutucu ve dondurucular, izolasyon malzemeleri ve CFC içeren soğutma gazı ihtiva etmektedirler. Bu nedenle eski buzdolabınızı elden çıkarırken çevreye zarar vermemeye özen gösterin.

Ürünün üzerinde veya bilgi etiketinde yer alan bu işaret, bu cihazın kullanım ömrünün sonunda diğer evsel atıklarla birlikte atılmaması gerektiğini belirtmektedir. Kontrol edilmeyen atık imhasının

• Cihazı serin, havalandırması iyi nemsiz bir odaya yerleştirin, direkt güneş ışığına maruz kalmasından ve ısı kaynaklarının

(radyatör, fırın vb.) yakınına koymaktan sakının. Aksi takdirde yalıtım plakası kullanın. Lütfen cihazınızın kurulumu bölümünde anlatılanları göz önünde bulundurun.

• Sıcak yiyecek ve içeceklerin cihaz dışında soğumasını bekleyin aksi takdirde cihaz içi dahili sıcaklık artarak kompresörün daha fazla çalışmasına sebep olacak ve daha fazla enerji tüketecektir.

• Donmuş gıdaları, çözülmesi için buzdolabına koyun. Donmuş bir gıda

çözülürken mevcut düşük ısısı buzdolabının soğumasına yardımcı olur. Böylece enerjiden tasarruf edilmiş olur. Donmuş gıdanın dışarıya konulması enerji israfına neden olur.

• İçecekleri ve sulu yemekleri buzdolabına koyarken kapalı bir kapta olmalarına dikkat edin. Aksi takdirde cihaz içindeki nem artacaktır. Bu ise çalışma süresini uzatır. İçeceklerin ve sulu yemeklerin kapalı kaplarda muhafaza edilmeleri ayrıca kokularının ve tatlarının bozulmasını engeller.

• İçecekleri ve gıdaları buzdolabına koyarken, cihazın kapısını mümkün olduğunca kısa süre açık tutun.

• Kapı contası temiz ve esnek olmalıdır.

Müşteri; şikâyet ve itirazları konusundaki başvurularını Tüketici Mahkemelerine ve

Safety Information

• Always keep this user manual with your appliance. Provide this user manual with the appliance if you lend your appliance.

• In order to reduce the risk of burning, electric shock, fire or injury, read the user manual carefully before using your appliance and follow the instructions about the operation, troubleshooting and cleaning of your appliance.

• Children 8 years or older and individuals who suffer from physical, auditory or mental impairment or have a lack of experience and knowledge can only use this appliance under supervision and only after they receive necessary instructions on safe use of the appliance and understand the potential dangers involved.

• Children must not play with the appliance. Do not allow children hang down from the door.

• Cleaning and user-maintenance procedures should not be performed by unsupervised children.

• When you want to dispose the appliance, remove its plug from the power outlet; and in order to prevent children from receiving electric shock and locking themselves inside the appliance, cut the power connection cable as closest as possible to the appliance and disassemble the door.

• Whenever an older model with a spring door or cover lock (latch) is to be replaced with this appliance, which is equipped with magnetic door seals, ensure that the spring lock is not in use prior to the disposal of the older appliance.

This precaution will prevent the appliance's becoming a death trap for children.

• WARNING: Keep the ventilation holes on the cover and body of the appliance open.

• WARNING: Do not use mechanic tools or other artificial methods to accelerate defrosting.

• WARNING: Unless suggested by the manufacturer, do not use electrical devices in parts of the appliance where foods

• WARNING: Do not damage the gas circuit of the refrigerator.

• WARNING: In order to avoid the damages arising from the imbalance of the appliance, the appliance must be secured as instructed.

• WARNING: Refrigerant and isolation purging gas is an inflammable gas. The appliance must be disposed at an authorized waste disposal facility. Do not expose the appliance to fire.

• Refrigerant: Refrigerant isobutane (R600a) contained in the coolant circuit of the appliance is a very environment friendly but inflammable natural gas. Ensure that none of the components of the appliance's coolant circuit are damaged during transportation and installation. Refrigerant (R600a) is an inflammable gas.

Caution: fire risk. If

the coolant circuit is damaged: Avoid from open fire and flammable sources. Ventilate the room well where the app-

2 liance is placed. Changing the product specifications or modifying this product in any way is dangerous.

• WARNING: Do not store explosive materials such as aerosol boxes in the refrigerator.

• This appliance is intended to be used indoors such as houses and etc. For example:

- In stores, shops, offices and staff kitchens of other working environments;

- Farm houses;

- By guests in the rooms of hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

- Bed and breakfast serving places.

- In food and drink serving and for other non-retail practices.

• The appliance is not intended for commercial or public use.

• WARNING: Operation of the appliance for purposes other than its intended purpose may cause damage and dangerous conditions and it renders the warranty void. Damages occurred due to these environments are compensated by the user.

• If your feeder cable is not proper for the outlet, it must be replaced by the authorized service in order to prevent any danger.

• WARNING: If your feeder cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the authorized service or competent persons.

• A special grounded plug has been connected to the mains cable of your refrigerator.

This plug must be used with a specially grounded socket of

16 amperes. If there is no such socket in your house, please have it installed by an authorized electrician.

• Connect the device only to an

AC current and a grounded socket. Manufacturer shall not be held responsible for damages that may arise due to utilization without grounding.

• In order to avoid possible electric shocks, ensure that your appliance's grounding wire and stray voltage protection circuit are in god condition.

• If the outlet where the electric plug is to be connected is loose, do not plug it in. That constitu-

3 tes fire and electric shock risk.

• Never use your appliance under following circumstances:

• If the appliance, its lamp, the electric cable or plug is damaged;

• If the appliance is dropped; if there are visible signs of damage or the appliance does not function correctly,

• If the appliance is damaged to the extent that its electrical parts are seen,

• If the appliance has got wet or dropped into water or other liquids, or been exposed to flood or if its electrical parts has been in contact with water

• If a strange voice, smoke or odour comes from the appliance.

• If any of the conditions described above are observed, disconnect the power cable immediately and contact an authorized service.

• A damaged appliance or damaged parts can cause serious injuries and fire.

• There are no user repairab-

le parts inside the appliance.

There is risk of electric shock in case of touching the electrical connections within the product and/or modifying the electrical and mechanical structure of the product. In case of any failure, do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Otherwise, the appliance shall be void of warranty.

• Use of accessories not recommended by manufacturer may cause damage on appliance and injury.

• The appliance must be connected and operated only in accordance with the information on type plate. Check if the voltage value of your electricity grid is consistent with the values indicated on the rating plate of the appliance prior to use.

• The appliance must only be fed through a power source with 220~240V / 50Hz single phase alternative current. If the voltage fluctuations at the user's place have a voltage outside the above range, for safety reasons, definitely use a 350W automatic voltage regulator for the refrigerator.

• To avoid electric shock, do not use your appliance outdoors or on wet floors.

• When unplugging it from the outlet, hold on its plug and pull it out, do not pull the cord directly.

• Appliance's rated residual current must be fed through a residual current device (RCD) that does not exceed 30 mA.

• Do not use a multi-way socket or an extension cable.

• Do not operate the appliance without the cover on the interior lighting lamp.

• Do not insert a plug whose cable is damaged, torn or wornout into the socket. Never pull, bend or damage the cable.

Crushed or damaged power cable may get overheated and cause to fire.

• Do not break or scrape the ice with pointed objects such as knives.

• Never insert/take out the plug to/from the socket with wet hands in order not to cause any electrical shock.

• Do not place hot objects nearby the plastic components of the appliance.

• Do not place the food products towards the air outflow at the back wall.

• Store frozen foods according to the instructions of frozen food producer.

• Food producer's storage advices must be followed. Refer to relevant storage instructions.

• Please do not ever place acidic drinks in glass bottles and cans in the deep-freeze compartment of your refrigerator.

Bottles and cans may burst out.

Adjusting the

Adjustable Legs

To ensure smooth and vibrationfree operation of your refrigerator, the adjustable front feet must be set at the suitable height and mutually balanced. You may adjust the adjustable legs of the appliance before placing food inside by following these steps:

1. Slide the refrigerator to its place.

2. Rotate the adjustable leg with your fingers or with an appropriate spanner until its touches on the ground.

3 By rotating the leg 1-2 times more, bend the appliance's top about10-15 mm backwards. This will allow the door to lose by itself and will ensure that the door seal will always be kept closed.

4. When you need to carry the device, do not forget to rotate the appliance's leg upwards so that the appliance slides freely. Repeat the installation after changing its place.

CAUTION:Since the wheels are

not swivel castors, they must only be used when moving the appliance back and forth. Moving the refrigerator sideways may cause damage to the wheels or to the surface it stands.

Please attach the handle first before using the appliance.

• Ensure that nails fit together by applying force. (3)

• NOTE: It may be easier to perform assembly from bottom to up. Assembly of lower handle will be the same for the upper handle.

• Before using your refrigerator, wipe all its parts with warm water in which you shall add one teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate, then rinse it with clean water and dry it. After the cleaning process is completed, place all the parts back.

• In order to allow flowing the oil back to the compressor it is recommended to wait at least for four hours.

• Use your appliance as instructed by the user manual; your appliance is equipped with functions and modes as shown in the illustrated control panels. When the appliance is powered for the first time, background lighting of the symbols on the display panel starts to run. Background lighting goes off when no button is pushed or when the doors are closed.

Temperature control

When you operate your refrigerator for the first time, it is recommended that fridge temperature and freezer temperature are set to 5°C and -18°C respectively. If you need to change the temperature, follow the steps below:

CAUTION: When you adjust the temperature, you will set an average temperature for the entire fridge compartment. Temperature of each section may be different from that of displayed on the panel depending on how much food you stored in and where these foods are placed. The peripheral temperature may affect the current temperature inside the appliance as well.

2. Quick Freezing

Quick freezing function quickly reduces the temperature inside the freezer compartment and may freeze your food products quicker than usual. This will allow you to preserve your food for prolonged time by locking the vitamins and nutrients in the food.

• To activate the quick freeze function, press the "Quick Freeze" button. When you press the button a light will go on and the temperature set shows -24°C.

• If you will fill maximum amount of food, we recommend operating the appliance for 6 hours prior to use.

• Quick freeze function becomes automatically off after 26 hours.

• When the quick freeze function is activated, you may deactivate it by pressing the "Quick Freeze" or "Freezer Compartment" button and then setting the temperature of the freezer compartment to its previous level.

3. Cooler

Press the "Cooler" button in order to adjust the cooler compartment temperature between 2°C and-8°C; control panel will display the corresponding value as sorted in the following.

4. Fast Cooling Mode you to store them fresh for prolonged time.

• To activate this function, press the "Fast

Cooling" button. When you press the button a light flashes and the cooler temperature set shows -2°C.

• Fast Cooling function becomes automatically off after 6 hours.

• When the Fast Cooling function is activated, you may deactivate it by pressing on "Fast Cooling" or "Cooler" button and then setting the temperature of the freezer to its previous level.

5. Holiday

If you have to leave the house for a long vacation or a business trip, you may activate this function by pressing the Holiday button until the light becomes on for 3 seconds.

• Cooler compartment is set to desired temperature before being activated to holiday mode. Cooler temperature setting displays "-" and the cooler compartment continues to operate.

• IMPORTANT: Do not store food in the cooler during that time; otherwise it will be spoiled in a short while.

• When the holiday mode is active, you may deactivate the mode by pressing on any of the "Holiday", "Freezer" or "Fast

Cooling Mode". Cooler temperature will go back to previous setting.

6. Alarm

Fast cooling feature cools your food quicker than usual and therefore allows

In case of an alarm, "Alarm" symbol will be on and a signal will be heard. In order to erase the alarm, press the

"Alarm" button. This will make the "Alarm" symbol off and the signal sound will be cut.

Door Alarm

• When the door of the cooler or the freezer is left ajar for more than 2 minutes, door alarm will be activated. In case of door alarm, alarm signal will sound for

3 times a minute and will stop after 10 minutes.

• For saving energy, please avoid leaving the doors ajar for long periods when using the refrigerator. When the door alarm is activated, it may be also deactivated by closing the doors.

Temperature Alarm

• If the freezer temperature is very high due to a power failure or for another reason, the appliance will give a temperature alarm and the freezer temperature setting will be displayed as "-".

• In case of a temperature alarm, signal sound will continuously play 10 times.

• In case of a Temperature Alarm, in order to be able to see the highest freezer temperature, press the "Alarm" button for 3 seconds. Temperature value and

"Alarm" symbol will simultaneously blink for 5 seconds.

• WARNING: It is normal that the refrigerator displays temperature alarm when it is re-powered. In this case, you may press the "Alarm" button to erase the alarm.

Door shelf

• Suitable for storing egg, canned beverages, bottled beverages and packed food and etc. Do not overload the shelves with too many heavy items.

• Glass shelves in cooler section can be pulled up and removed for cleaning.

Crisper and humidity control

• Crisper is for preserving the vegetables and fruits. You may adjust the humidity in the crisper by using the sliding part.

• Sliding part on the cover of the crisper may be slid to right or left to enlarge or narrow the air hole. Larger air hole means less humidity and narrower air hole means more humidity.

• You are recommended to keep the vegetables with more humidity and fruits with less humidity.

• When you want to remove the crisper, pull it to the front and then remove it from the nails by raising it. Do not forget to empty it priorly. When you have removed the drawers, ensure that the rails are sent their way back in.

• Divider easily arranges the crisper when you will store different types of food.

Icematic

• Icematic is used for preparing and serving out ice cubes. It may be used in the following way:

• Remove the icematic container from its place.

• Pour drinking water in it. (Do not exceed the maximum water level)

• Place back the filled ice container into the frame.

• Wait for about 3 hours and turn the buttons clockwise. Ices will fall into the ice box located under the ice container.

• NOTE: It is not recommended to produce ice in the ice box since it may crack.

• In order to prevent ice from damaging your hand by sticking, do not hold the ice container directly.

• To prevent humidification and odour formation, the food should be placed in the refrigerator in enclosed cups or with their top being covered. Otherwise, the humidity level inside the refrigerator will increase. And this will cause overworking of your refrigerator. Covering the food and drinks will also help preserving their tastes and flavours.

• Hot food and drinks should be cooled in the room temperature before being placed in the refrigerator.

• Meat may be placed as wrapped in foil.

• Fruits and vegetables may be placed in the crisper directly without wrapping.

• Cooked food, cold meals and etc. Should be covered and may be placed on any shelf.

• Butter and cheese: Should be wrapped with air proof folio or stretch film.

• Foodstuffs: Wrap and place them on the glass shelf over the crisper.

• Milk bottles: Should have lids and be preserved on the door shelves.

• Cooler air duct distributes cold air to the cooler compartment. Closing these ducts with food and preventing the distribution of air should be avoided. Please do not prop the packaged food and containers against the lamp and cover of the cooler compartment.

• Avoid placing humid food at the back of the refrigerator since they may be frozen when in contact with cool air. In order to prevent this, preserve food in closed containers.

• Potatoes, onions and garlic should not be stored in the refrigerator.

• Place the food properly inside so as the air is freely circulated around them.

• For working for the first time or after a long period of pause, operate the appliance for at least 2 hours at high setting before storing food in the compartment.

• Prepare your food in small portions so as to allow a quick and complete freeze and to allow thawing only the required amount.

• Wrap the food with aluminium foil or with air-proof food stretches.

• Do not let fresh, unfrozen food get in contact with unfrozen food in order to prevent increase in their temperature .

• Do not place fresh and hot food on the freezer compartment's door to freeze them. Use only for storing frozen food.

• When consumed directly after being taken of the freezer compartment, ice products may cause freeze burns on the skin.

• In order to be able to monitor the pre-

servation time you are recommended to label each frozen item by affixing a date on them.

• Freezer is used for storing the frozen or deep frozen food for a long time and for producing ice.

• When freezing fresh food (for example, meat, fish and ground meat) divide them into amounts that you may use at once.

• In order to preserve frozen food, you should follow the producer's instructions on the food; if no instruction was affixed on the food, the food must be preserved maximum for a period of 3 months.

• When buying frozen food, make sure that the food has gotten frozen at appropriate temperatures and that the package is not damaged.

• Frozen food must be carried in the proper containers for preservation of the quality and should be placed in the freezer compartment of the appliance as soon as possible.

• If you notice humidity and swelling on the package of the food, it is likely that it had been kept under improper temperature and the content is spoiled.

• Shelf life of a frozen food depends on the room temperature, temperature setting of the freezer compartment, frequency of fridge's door's opening, type of the food and the time necessary to carry the food from supermarket to home. Always abide by the instructions on the package and never exceed the indicated storage duration.

• Prepare your food in small portions so as to allow a quick and complete freeze and to allow thawing only the required amount.

• After thawing, food will spoil quickly and it should not be frozen again.

• If the frozen food taken out of the deep freezer is placed in the bottom drawer one day before, it thaws there and supports the cooling in the fridge. That saves energy. If the items in the freezer are directly placed outside, this will cause energy loss.

• The frozen meat should be cooked just like fresh meat once it is thawed. If the meat is not cooked after being thawed; it should never ever be frosted again.

• The taste of some spices found in cooked dishes (anise, basilica, watercress, vinegar, assorted spices, ginger, garlic, onion, mustard, thyme, marjoram, black pepper, etc.) changes and they assume a strong taste when they are stored for a long period. Therefore, the frozen food should be added little amount of spices or the desired spice should be added after the food has been thawed.

Switching off the appliance

If the appliance is to be switched off for a long time, follow the bellow steps in order to prevent the mould growth in the appliance.

• Take out all food.

• Remove the power plug from the power outlet.

• After thawing, following the instructions given in the Cleaning and Maintenance section, leave all the doors open in order to prevent development of humidity and odour.

• Although this appliance has automatic defrost function, if the freezer compartment door is frequently opened or left open, there may be a layer of frost on the interior walls of the freezer. If this layer of frost is very thick, chose a time when the food stock is low and follow these steps:

• Remove all existing food and accessory baskets; plug out the appliance from the power outlet and leave the door open.

To accelerate defrosting, ventilate the room well.

• When the defrosting is over, clean your freezer as described above.

Cleaning the door seals

• Keep your door seals clean. Sticky food and drinks may cause the seals to stick to the refrigerator and to tear when the door is opened. Wash the seal with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse after washing and dry completely.

• CAUTION: The appliance should be re-powered only after the door seals are completely dry.

Changing the LED lamp

WARNING:LED lamp should not be changed by the user.

If the light bulb is damaged, please contact the Customer Communication Centre. Following steps can be followed for changing the LED lamp:

• Remove the power plug from the mains socket.

• Remove the cover of the lamp from its right and left hand side using a screwdriver by pressing down.

• Change the LED lamp and guide it to its place correctly.

Troubleshooting

When you notice an abnormal situation in your appliance, you may attempt to troubleshoot according to the following descriptions. If your appliance still does not operate properly, contact Vestel Call

Centre. You may access the authorized services list and contact information from the web site.

PROBLEM CAUSE

There may be a power failure.

SOLUTION

Contact with an expert electric technician.

Appliance is not operating.

Power plug may not be properly connected.

Check if the fuse of the socket to which the plug is connected or the main fuse is blown.

Plug it firmly to the outlet.

Make sure that the fuse is operational.

Ambient temperature is too low.

There might be a problem with the power outlet.

Freezer compartment may be in automatic defrosting process.

Compressor may not work when it is first started as a protection.

Set the compartment temperature to a lower level.

To check this, plug your refrigerator to a socket which is surely operating and try again.

It will get back to normal after the defrosting process. This is normal.

It will get back to normal after a while the appliance is switched on. This is normal.

PROBLEM CAUSE

Doors of your appliance may be opened and left as such for longer time.

Doors of the appliance may not be completely closed.

SOLUTION

Do not frequently open and close the doors. Especially in this case, do not open and close the doors for a couple of hours.

Check if the refrigerator's top is bended 10-15 mm back as to enable the doors close themselves and check also that the food stored inside does not contact the door.

Your refrigerator does not cool enough.

A container or food preventing proper ventilation may be placed at the back of the refrigerator.

Be careful on this point when placing food inside the refrigerator.

Your appliance may be overfilled.

There may not be sufficient distance between your appliance and the wall.

Operating ambient temperature may not be suitable for your product's standards.

You need to take overload out from the refrigerator.

Ensure that the necessary distance is left as instructed in the Safety Information for Installing the Appliance.

Ensure that operating ambient temperature is within the limits specified in the user manual.

Temperature setting may be incorrect.

There might be excessive amount of newly-placed food in the freezer compartment.

Compressor gets activated from time to time to maintain the set temperature level.

Your appliance may not be in balance.

Adjustable legs might be unadjusted.

There might be something behind your appliance.

Shelves or dishes in your appliance might be vibrating.

Items placed on top of the appliance might be vibrating.

You need to take overload out from the refrigerator.

Ensure that the necessary distance is left as instructed in the Safety Information for Installing the Appliance.

Ensure that operating ambient temperature is within the limits specified in the user manual.

Increase the interior temperature by control displays.

In this case, since the compressor will work longer, it may also cool the food in the cooler compartment more than necessary. This problem can be fixed by itself after waiting a certain while.

It is a normal situation. These noises are the sounds of the functions of your refrigerator.

Adjust the legs of your appliance as described in the user manual.

Remove the items behind your appliance.

Resettle the shelves and/or dishes.

Do not place anything on top of your appliance.

PROBLEM

Interior part of your appliance gathers moisture.

Some foods get frozen in your appliance.

Doors are not being properly opened and closed.

The edges of the refrigerator cabin contacted by the door seal might be hot.

There is an odour in the drawers.

CAUSE

Food might be not properly packaged. Cups might not be dried well before they were put into the refrigerator.

The doors of the refrigerator might be opened very frequently.

When the door is opened, the humidity found in the air in the room enters into the refrigerator.

Especially if the humidity rate in the room is too high, the more frequently the door is opened the faster will be the humidification.

Damp food placed at the back might have been in contact with cold air.

Food packages may be preventing the doors from being closed.

Door compartments, shelves and drawers might not be properly placed.

Door seals might be defective or torn.

Your refrigerator might be not standing on a flat surface.

Especially in summer months (in hot weathers), there might be heating on the surfaces contacted by the seal on the refrigerator when the compressor is operating.

The appliance might need cleaning.

SOLUTION

Place the food in the refrigerator inside a dry container with a closed cover.

Try to open the doors of your refrigerator less frequently.

Avoid placing damp food at the back. Preserve food in closed containers.

Be careful on this point when placing food inside the refrigerator.

Ensure proper placement on the shelves and drawers.

Install and operate your appliance on flat surface.

This is quite normal.

Clean you appliance.

PROBLEM

Motor is continuously working.

An ice layer is developing in the section.

CAUSE

Motor works more under the following cases: When the temperature is set to a higher value than necessary

When large amounts of hot food are placed

Ambient temperature is very high

Doors left ajar for a very long time or opened frequently.

After the installation of the appliance or when it is left nonoperational for a longer time.

Air holes might be blocked.

SOLUTION

This is quite normal.

Check that the air holes are not blocked by the food and place them inside the appliance with sufficient space around allowing proper ventilation. Ensure that the door is closed firmly. Refer to the section "Cleaning and Maintenance" to remove ice.

Interior temperature is too low.

Water drips on the ground.

Light is not operational.

Water tray (located at the back on the bottom side) level setting might not be set properly or the discharge opening (under the front face of the compressor bin) might be not properly placed as to guide the water into this tray or the water outlet might be completely blocked.

LED lamp might be damaged.

You might need to move your appliance from the wall to check the tray and discharge opening.

Refer to Changing the LED lamp in the Cleaning and Maintenance section.

Control system might be deactivated the lights since the door is left open for a long time.

Close the door and reopen it to activate the lights again.

* Normal Sounds;

Crackling (Ice Cracking) sound:

• It is heard during the automatic defrosting process.

• Once the device has been cooled or heated (expansions in the device material).

Short Cracking:It is heard when the compressor turns on and off.

Compressor sound (normal motor

sound:This noise indicates that the compressor is operating normally. As the compressor is being introduced, it might operate a little bit more noisily for a short period of time.

Bubbling and burbling sound: This noise is emitted as the coolant fluid flows through the pipes within the system.

Water flowing sound:This is the normal sound of water flowing into the evaporation container during the defrosting process.

This sound may be heard during the defrosting process performed in the device.

Air blowing sound (Normal fan sound):

This sound may be heard due to air circulation as the system is operating normally.

• NOTE: In case of sudden power failure or disconnections and connections of the plug to the socket, the compressor protection feature will be activated since the pressure of the gas in the cooling system of your refrigerator is not balanced yet. 5-10 minutes later, your refrigerator will start to operate; there is nothing to worry about.

Disposal of the Appliance in an Environment Friendly Manner

• If your old refrigerator is a refrigerator with a lock, break or remove the lock before disposing it; because children might enter into it during their play; lock themselves in and cause an accident.

• The old coolers and freezers contain a coolant gas that includes isolation materials and CFC. Therefore, pay the due diligence for doing no harm to the environment while disposing of your old refrigerator.

This marking either on the product or the information label indicates that this appliance should not be disposed with other household wastes at the end of its life.

To prevent possible harm to the environment and human health, due to uncontrolled waste disposal, please separate this device from other types of waste and recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. For information about where and how you can recycle this appliance in an environmental friendly manner, please contact the dealer you purchased the product from and relevant local organizations. Do not give your appliance to unregistered disposal entities.

This product should not be mixed with other commercial wastes for recycling.

Packaging information

Packaging material of product is totally recyclable. Do not discard packaging material with household waste or others, discard it to packaging material collecting points determined by local government.

Energy Saving Tips

• Place your appliance in a non-humid well ventilated room and avoid placing it under direct sunlight and nearby to heat sources (panel radiator, oven and etc.). Otherwise, use an insulation plate.

Please follow the instructions carefully given in the installation section.

• Keep your hot food and drinks out waited until they get cooler. If not, the inside temperature will increase to cause the compressor to work more and it will consume more energy.

• Place the frozen food in the fridge to thaw them. During thawing, a frozen food's existing low temperature helps the fridge get cold. Therefore it helps saving energy. Putting the frozen food outside constitutes a waste of energy.

• Make sure that the drinks and stews are inside a closed container while putting them into the refrigerator. Otherwise, the humidity level in the appliance will increase. This will extend the working time. Preserving food and drinks in closed containers prevents loss of their tastes and flavours as well.

• When placing the food and drinks in the refrigerator, close the door of the appliance as immediately as possible.

• Door seal should be clean and elastic.

Replace the worn seals.

• In order to prevent the increase in energy consumption, clean the back of your appliance once in a while with a soft and dry paint brush or a similar other tool.

• Do not set the temperature at an unnecessary lower level.

Customer's Right of Choice

In case the product is found defective as per the terms of Protection of the Consumers

Act, No 6502, even though the defect occurs in a later time, the customers have the following rights for two years following the date of delivery to:

1) Return the sold product and cancel the agreement,

2) Keep the sold product and request a discount on the sales price in proportion to the defect, (one of these elective rights can be used against the Seller),

3) Unless an excessive cost is required, request a free-of-charge repair of the product, with all costs belong to the seller,

4) If it is possible, to replace the product with an equivalent one free-of-defect, (one of these elective rights can be used against the seller, manufacturer or importer).

If the free-of-charge repair or replacement with an equivalent product free-of-defects will cause a disproportional drawback for the seller then the consumer can use his right to cancel the agreement and request a discount on sales price in proportion to the defect.

The customer can file his complaints and rejections at Consumer Courts and Consumer Arbitration Committees.
