Before operating, make sure both the power and color wheel switches are in the off position. Switch the power on, then switch on the color wheels. When shutting down the system, always turn the color wheels off. This will allow the color wheels to reset to their home position the next time the lights are turned on.

The J400AS has a voltage rating of 120 volts, a maximum wattage of 84 watts, and an amperage of 2.0 amps.

Always disconnect the power to the pool light at the circuit breaker before servicing the light. Remove the special pilot screw at the top of the face ring, remove the light assembly from the niche and gently place the assembly on the deck. Disassemble the light fixture and remove the bulb. Install the new lamp, noting the side the screw holes are on, and reassemble the fixture. Be sure to replace the lens gasket (Fiberstars part number J30-7000) each time the light is reassembled, and do not use any lubricants when installing the lens gasket.
