4" Two-Way Satellite Loudspeaker

RSX-4

The RSX-4 is an ultracompact, video-shielded loudspeaker designed to reproduce the main or surround channels in a high-performance satellite/subwoofer system or to stand alone in any indoor application requiring very small speakers of the highest quality. Perfectly matched cosmetically and sonically to the other Reference Satellite models, its sound also blends well with that of full-size Klipsch loudspeakers, allowing maximum flexibility in system configuration. (RSX-4s are perfect for adding 6.1 or 7.1 surround-back capability to an existing 5.1-channel home theater setup, for example.) The speakers’ gracefully contoured, high-rigidity enclosure is small enough to fit wherever you need it to go. An integrated ball-joint pedestal stand with bottom keyholes makes it easy to place the

RSX-4 on any convenient surface (walls included) and direct its sound into the listening area.

High frequencies emanate from a 1-inch t i t a n i u m d o m e c o m p r e s s i o n d r i v e r tweeter. The round MicroTractrix ™ Horn molded into the front of the cast aluminum baffle raises the driver’s efficiency and controls its radiation pattern to minimize detail-blurring reflections from walls, floor, and ceiling.

Energized by a high-intensity neodymium magnet, the RSX-4’s 4-inch Cerametallic ™ cone woofer generates bass that is both clean and remarkably strong for a speaker of this size. Low-frequency response extends deep enough to mesh seamlessly with the crossovers built into A/V receivers, surround processors, and powered subwoofers. As in all

Reference Series loudspeakers, premium crossover components ensure optimum signal transfer.

By virtue of their size and performance,

RSX-4s can serve a multitude of functions.

Standing alone, they are a great choice for remote speakers in a multiroom audio installation or stereo speakers in a minimalist music system. And with a Klipsch powered subwoofer handling low bass, they can deliver rich, full-range stereo or surround sound in a typical-size room.
