Installation instructions for the
TCFB/TCFBS final filter section
GOLD/SILVER C
1. General
Final filter section Install the TCFB in ventilation systems where further filtration of the supply air is required.
Install the final filter section in the supply air downstream of the air handling unit.
Bag filters of ample proportions conforming to filter class
F7 or F9.
GOLD:
A prefitted pressure sensor is available as standard. The alarm limit and current filter pressure can be read on the hand-held micro terminal of the GOLD unit.
2. Maintenance
The filters should be changed when the filter alarm has been activated.
Order new filters from Swegon or your nearest Swegon representative. Specify the size of the unit.
To remove the filter cartridges
Pull out the handles (A) to free the filters from the filter holder. Withdraw the filters. See illustration!
It is advisable to clean inside the filter space while the filters are removed.

To install new filters
Insert the filters into the filter holder. At the same time, stretch the filter bags, so that they will not become caught, damaged or folded.
Insert the filters as far as possible into the final filter section and press lightly on the filter frames, so that they will fit tightly.
Push in the handles (A) to clamp the filters in position in the filter holder.

Calibrate the filter.

5. Electrical connections
GOLD:
Wire the pressure sensor to optional COM6-COM11 bus contact on the air handling unit’s control circuit card. Use the cable supplied for this purpose.
Check that the pressure sensor’s function selector switch is set to the A position.
