The dryer must be installed on a sound, level floor capable of supporting its weight. It should not be installed in an area where it will be exposed to water or weather. Make sure to provide adequate air supply and clearance from combustible construction.

The dryer must be connected to the electric supply shown on the data label affixed to either the back side of the upper control door or the left side panel/wall area behind the control door. A ground connection must be provided and installed in accordance with state and local codes.

The dryer must be exhausted to the outdoors. Ductwork size and installation should be done by a qualified professional. The ductwork should be routed as short as possible to the outdoors with as few elbows as possible. Make sure to avoid 90° turns and use 30° or 45° turns instead. Exhaust back pressure measured by a manometer at the dryer exhaust duct area must not exceed 0.3 inches (0.74 mb) of water column (W.C.).
