2. How long does the HP Cash In &amp; Trade Up 2013 promotion run?

4. What products(s) are eligible for trade-in for the HP Cash In &amp; Trade Up 2013 promotion?
On select trade-in products, you have the option of keeping or trading in but you will receive a higher trade in value if you return your formatter
board or motherboard of the old large format printer. If you want to trade in, you must trade in an eligible formatter board or motherboard of the
old large format printer from the above charts. Trade-in product must be capable of being powered on.
5. How do I get my cash-back allowance?
To get your cash-back amount, follow these three simple steps:
Purchase or lease—Get cash back when you:
• Purchase or lease a qualifying new HP Designjet T790 44-in PostScript ePrinter or HP Designjet T2300 44-in PostScript eMFP between
February 1, 2013, and April 30, 2013, and submit claim form by May 31, 2013. Rebate values are determined by the new printer purchased or
leased and the eligible old large format printer. On select trade-in products, you can receive a higher trade-in value if you provide the serial
number and return the formatter board or motherboard of the old large format printer. See charts for rebate and trade-in
product details.
• Or, purchase or lease any qualifying new HP Designjet Z6200 42-in or 60-in Photo Printer with a full set of qualifying inks between
February 1, 2013, and April 30, 2013, and submit claim form by May 31, 2013. Rebate values are determined by the new printer purchased or
leased and the eligible old large format printer. On select trade-in products, you can receive a higher trade-in value if you provide the serial
number and return the formatter board or motherboard of the old large format printer. See charts for rebate and trade-in
product details.
Eligible trade-in formatter board or motherboard of the old large format printer vary depending on the qualifying HP Designjet printer
purchased—see charts for details. Submit the claim form by May 31, 2013. On select trade-in products, you have the option of keeping or trading
in formatter board or motherboard but you will receive a higher trade in value if you return your trade-in formatter board or motherboard of the
old large format printer.
Claim Form—Complete and submit the online claim form by May 31, 2013. Any claims received after this date will be rejected. After you submit
your online claim, Market Velocity (MVI) will send a confirmation email with the claim number and instructions on your next step of the claim
process. Please print and save for your records. Reference this claim number for questions relating to this promotion. You must supply the serial
number and make/model of the old product during this claiming step.
Proof of Purchase—Fax in a copy of your confirmation email, your proof of purchase sales invoice(s) (or lease documents) any HP Care Pack
Services, and ink set purchase(s) to 1-770-217-4097 or email to [email protected]. If the serial number(s) of your eligible
new Printer(s) is not listed on your sales invoice(s), please write the serial number(s) of your eligible new Printer(s) on the sales invoice(s) prior to
submitting. This needs to be done within thirty (30) days of claim submission. Be sure to keep a copy of your entire claim for your records. You may

If a GSD customer chooses to pursue the higher rebate, GSD resellers can arrange for the return of the printer’s formatter board or motherboard,
ink delivery system and HP Designjet CP ink system cartridges to their location to be recycled. All other HP branded ink cartridges need to be sent

This site outlines the claim submission process that must be followed in order to receive rebates advanced to end user customers as part of the HP
Designjet Cash In &amp; Trade Up 2013 promotion.
If a GSD reseller submits a claim for the higher rebate, the GSD reseller will be required during the claiming process to acknowledge that they have
both received a customer’s eligible trade-in printer’s formatter board or motherboard and its ink delivery system components and have properly
recycled them. In addition, the GSD reseller acknowledges that they will make the end user aware of HP’s Plant Partners recycling program and
service including leaving with the customer materials to engage in capturing and recycling used ink cartridges and print heads.
• When the above statement is acknowledged, a $100 recycling allowance will be added to the GSD reseller’s claim.
All incomplete claims will be automatically rejected, and must be completed and resubmitted to be processed. A claim is considered incomplete
if it matches one or more of the following criteria: missing any information requested on the claim form, missing serial number of new printer(s)
purchased, missing proof of purchase documents, invoice with invalid purchase date, invalid trade-in product(s).
Cash back—Please allow 8 weeks from the time your trade-in claim is complete for receipt of your cash-back check. Completion of your claim
includes pick up of your Trade-in formatter board or motherboard of the old large format printer and receipt of your proof(s) of purchase/lease.
For questions regarding the status of your submission, please contact the promotion help line at 1-866-525-4178 Monday–Friday between the
hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Once your claim is submitted, your purchase invoice received and validated, allow 8 weeks to get
your cash back check.
6. I am a GSD Reseller, what is my responsibility to receive an additional $100 to recycle and remove my customer’s equipment?
As a Graphic Specialist Design partner, you will be required during the claiming process to acknowledge that you have both received a customer's
eligible trade-in formatter board or motherboard of the old large format printer and its ink delivery system components and have properly
recycled them in order to get both the cash back rebate and $100 recycling allowance.
By accepting this you acknowledge that you have both received a customer’s eligible trade-in printer’s formatter board or motherboard and its ink
delivery system components and have properly recycled them. In addition, you acknowledge that you will make the end user aware of HP’s Plant
Partners recycling program and service including leaving customer materials to engage in capturing and recycling used ink cartridges and
print heads.
Ink delivery components and HP Designjet CP ink system cartridges should be recycled in accordance with standard conventions. All other HP

7. What is the final submission date for my claim?
All claims must be received May 31, 2013.
8. How easy is it to fill out the claim form?
It's very easy. It takes about five minutes.
9. Where can I find the serial number for my purchased/leased printer(s)?
The serial number can be found on the box the printer came in next to the UPC symbol. Or you can find it on the printer itself.
10. What if one of my old products is damaged? Do I still get a cash-back amount?
No.
11. Do I have to handle the trade-in process myself or can my reseller assist me?
By all means, your reseller can assist you.
12. Can I combine HP Cash In &amp; Trade Up 2013 promotion with another offer?
This offer may only be combined with the HP Instant Rebates promotion and may not be combined with HP discount offers such as education
rebates, big deal pricing and volume discounts.
13. I have HP branded ink, where do I return it?

Certainly, this is a one-for-one trade only. There is no limit to the number of purchases/leases and trade-ins you can make.

18. What if my trade-in product only allows me to provide my serial number? But I would like to ship my trade-in formatter board or
motherboard of the old large format printer for the larger rebate?
Only the products listed in the charts referencing the trade-in formatter board or motherboard of the old large format printer can be returned for
the larger rebate. There are no exceptions to this rule.
