The following tools are required: 5/32 allen wrench, 3/8, 7/16 & 9/16 open-end wrench, phillips screwdriver, 3/8 socket on 8” extension in an electric or cordless drill.

The Stair Lift has several safety features, including: upper and lower limit cams that automatically stop the unit at each landing, a slack cable safety device that prevents the lift from running when there is not enough tension on the cable, and a final limit actuator that disables the unit if it over-travels.

The final installation checks include: testing the unit controls located on the chair arm, testing the operation of the upper and lower call controls, checking the footrest safety, and reading the Owner’s Manual before riding the lift.
