Chapter 3

Description of Main Functional Operations

3.1 Basic Operation

1. Switch on/off

Turn on the power supply with the car key, the power supply of the player will be automatically switched on and the system will return to the state when it was switched off. Press the power button to switch off the player if you don't want to use it.

2. Function modes switch

Press the SELECT button on the panel or remote controller, you can have the player circularly switched among the following modes: DVD,

AM, FM, CDC and TV. (Remark: CDC can only be played when the player is configured with CDC player.)

The player has to be restarted if it is powered off. The player will automatically recover the mode when it is powered off.

If you place a disc into the player, it will automatically switch to DVD mode no matter which mode it is in.

3. Volume Control

Press the "+/-" button on the panel or remote control when the player is

in normal play state, you can change

the volume to meet your requirement.

4. Mute Control

If you don't need the voice output in the normal play, press the mute button on the panel or the remote controller. The symbol of "Mute" will be display on the screen and the system will be in mute state. Press the button again, the system will exit the mute mode and recover voice output.

5. Display and Tuning of Time

Press the TIME button on the panel or the remotecontroller, the time display will be switched on or off.

Press the "TUNING" button

on the remote control, the time display willswitch circularly between

"hour-minute-second".Press the "+/-"

button, now you can change the value

of hour, minute and second respectively.

6. Supported Disc Types

DVD, DVCD, VCD, CD, CD-RW,

Mp3, etc.

7. Rotary panel

Press button on the panel or remote controller to rotate the panel or adjust the angles of the screen, and the original position can be restored.

(a) Press on the panel or the controller for remote before launching

, then the panel will be totally launched.

(b) After launching totally, a brief press of on the panel or the remote controller will make the panel draw back (6-7mm), another press will lead it draw back again.

(c) A long time press will draw it back completely.

Note:

a brief press: Means that the effection time on this key is equal to or less than 1 second (just once of the buzzer); a long press: Means that theeffection

8. Eject disc

This machine has touch panel function. The main menu is shown as Drawing OSD0001, which has 5 functions: DVD, TV, Radio,

CDC,GPS,A/V/Bluetooth and Setting ｍａｎｕａｌｌｙ　ｏｎｌｙ．［ｄｉｆｆｅｒｅｎｔ　ｆｒｏｍ　 ｔｈｅ what you want, or press the

Up/Down button on the remote controller to cyclically choose the ｒｅｍｏｔｅ　ｃｏｎｔｒｏｌｌｅｒ　（ｒｏｔａｒｙ　ｋｅｙ

Chapter 3

Description of Main Functional Operations

(1) Play/Pause/Stop. Press the

Play/Pause/Stop button on the screen; the machine will execute relative operation. The current status will be shown on the left upper side of the screen.

(2) Song skipping: Press "Last song"/ "Next Song" to skip backward or forward.

(3) Main Menu: Press this button to return to main menu which is shown as OSD0001 (This function works the same in all state. No further explanation will be listed)

(4) Volume Adjustment: Press "+, -" button to adjust the volume (This function works the same in all state.

No further explanation will be listed.)

(5) Mute button: Press this button and "Muting" will be shown on the screen. The whole system will be in mute state. Press again; it will resume the Sound Output (This function works the same in all state.

2. TV Function

Touch the TV symbol under main menu, TV will be shown on fullscreen as OSD0003. Detailed operation can refer to Chapter 3.6
