RC-C2 remote control is a newly developed multi-functional, fully compatible
IR remote control made by Snapshot Studio. It is engineered with single-chip
technology to simulate multiple remote control coding, supporting over 40
different models of digital camera as well as traditional camera, it is fully
compatible with the brand-name inferred remote controls.

Position of camera when shooting with remote control.
2.1 Pentax Cameras
2.1.1 Place the camera on tripod or a stable surface.
2.1.2 Select from menu until the following picture shows up on your
LCD

2.1.3 Point your remote control at the camera’s receiver.
2.1.4 Execute the shutter on remote control.
2.2 Nikon Cameras
2.2.1 Place the camera on tripod or a stable surface.
2.2.2 Press

2.3 Canon Cameras
2.3.1 Place the camera on tripod or a stable surface.

2.3.3.1 The camera will auto-focus first.
2.3.3.2 When focus is finished, the shutter will be released,
self-shoot light will be on indicating the shutter is released.

2.3.4 Execute the shutter release.
2.4 Minolta Cameras
2.4.1 Place the camera on tripod or a stable surface
2.4.2 Switch the camera to remote control stage when using remote
control.
2.4.3 Press and hold the remote control button while move the wheel
until the remote icon shows up. Now you are ready to operate.
2.5 Attention: When operating remote control, please avoid fluorescent
lights, which may affect your operation.

Function Keys

3.1 Pentax Functional Area
3.1.1 ①. Shutter Release (under Auto-focus mode, the camera will
auto focus first, then release the shutter, *istDS/D can be
controlled by self-defined function), on camera it is optional to
select instant shutter release or delayed (3 sec) shutter release.
3.1.2 ②. Zoom function key. This key can adjust the focus to the
designated length. The position can be wide, middle, and narrow.
(this key is not functional to SLR camera).
3.2 Nikon Functional Area
3.2.1 ③. Shutter Release (under Auto-focus mode, the camera will

Effective Range
4.1 The effective range for RC-C2 remote control is 1cm – 8 meters in
front of the camera. The left or right angle against the camera’s lens’
axel is less than 30 degree.
4.2 Attention: the effective distance varies for different models, which
relates to the quality of the camera’s remote control receiver. For
EOS Digital Rebel 300D/350D, the working distance is from 1cm to 4
meters with angle of 15 degree. For EOS 50/55/30/30v, the distance
can be as far as 8 meters with 30 degree.
