1. SETUP

Plug one end of the spiral cord into the handset at (A), and the other end into the socket on the left side of the phone (B).

2. WALL MOUNTING

To mount your telephone set on the wall, remove the wall mounting peg and put it back the other way round as shown below. Drill two 6 mm holes, spaced 70 mm apart. Fit two wall plugs, then insert two screws (3.5 mm Ø and 25 mm long), but without tightening them.

Place the cord in the slot situated underneath the set.

3. GENERAL USE

3.1 RINGER LAMP / MESSAGE WAITING LAMP

This light flashes in time with the ringer when you receive a call. It goes out as soon as you take the line.

If you are connected to an ALCATEL PABX with a voicemail service, the message waiting lamp tells you there is a message in your mailbox.

3.2 HANDSET VOLUME CONTROL l Press the key.

l To return to the initial volume, press the key.

3.3 MUTE l

The Mute key puts your correspondent on hold so that you can talk to someone else without the first person hearing.

BEEP l

1 beep is emitted on the line every 10 seconds.

l To resume the conversation, press the Mute key again.

3.4 LAST NUMBER REDIAL l Pick up the handset.

l Press the Redial key.

To erase the last dialled number l Pick up the handset.

l Press the Programming key twice.

l Press the Redial key.

3.5 ADDITIONAL SERVICES KEYS*

These function keys provide quick access to additional services (ask your network operator or installer for details).

4. CONNECTING AND USING AN ADDITIONAL HEADSET**

5. USING THE MEMORIES

NOTE: In programming mode, your TEMPORIS communicates with you by emitting a number of beeps.

1 beep : every key press is acknowledged by a beep.

2 beeps : programming correct.

3 beeps : programming error. Start again from the beginning.

Your telephone set can store 10 numbers of up to 24 digits.

5.1 PROGRAMMING THE MEMORIES

Programming without calling l Pick up the handset.

Press the Programming key.

l Enter the number.

l Press one of the ten memory keys.

Pick up the handset.

l Dial the number.

l Press the Programming key, whether you are already in conversation or not.

5.2 MEMORY DIALLING l

5.3 ERASING A MEMORY l Pick up the handset.

l Press the Programming key twice.

l Press the key corresponding to the memory to be erased.

6. SELECTING AND ADJUSTING THE RINGTONE

You have a choice of four ringtones. You can adjust the volume when the phone rings or by going into programming mode.

6.1 WHEN A CALL COMES IN

You can change the ringtone as the phone is ringing.

l

Press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to select a ringtone.

Your modifications are memorized, and you can answer the call.

6.2 IN PROGRAMMING MODE

To adjust the ringtone: l

Press the Programming key then key 1 (current melody is heard).

To adjust the ringing volume: l Selet the ringing volume switch: low / mid / high.

12. PRECAUTIONS OF USE / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

l Caution: never let your telephone set come into contact with water. You may, however, use a damp cloth to clean your telephone.

During storms, you are advised not to use the telephone.

The TEMPORIS 200 telephone is designed for making and receiving telephone calls and for connection to a private or public service telephone network.

l Appliance designed for connection to a TNV3-class analogue telephone line as defined

in European safety standard EN60950-1.

13. ENVIRONMENT

8. CONFIGURATION FOR PROFESSIONAL USE

Skip this chapter if your TEMPORIS is connected directly to the public network.

8.1 ACCESSING THE PROGRAMMING MODE

For each of the 3 operations, you need to go into programming mode first.

l Press and hold keys 1 and 3 simultaneously.

8.2 TYPE OF DIALLING l Press the Programming key followed by 2.

For pulse dialling l Press the key. l

8.3 FLASH DURATION (R)

Go into programming mode again and then: l Press the Programming key followed by 3.

l Press: 1 for a 100 ms flash,

2 for a 300 ms flash,

3 for a 600 ms flash.

l Replace the handset.

9. GUARANTEE

Your TEMPORIS 20 0 telephones are approved in conformity with European regulations, as attested by the CE mark.

You are covered by a legal guarantee on this product. For all information concerning this guarantee, please contact your reseller.

Regardless of the legal warranty covering the product, the reseller guarantees conformity of the products with their technical specifications for a period of twelve (12) months, parts and labour, starting from the date appearing on the proof of purchase of the product.

You should therefore retain your invoice or till receipt specifying the date of purchase of the product and the name of the reseller. However, if the legal warranty applicable in your country exceeds twelve (12) months, then the legal warranty alone applies. The nonconforming part or product will be repaired or replaced free of charge, by an identical part or product, or one at least equivalent in terms of functionality and performance. If it proves impossible to repair or replace the item, the product will be reimbursed.

The spare product or part, which may be either new or reconditioned, is guaranteed either for three months from the date of repair or until the end of the initial warranty period, whichever is the longer. All parts or products returned and replaced become the property of the manufacturer.

However, this warranty does not apply in the following cases: l installation or use in a way that fails to comply with the instructions contained in this guide; l incorrect connection or non-standard use of the product, notably with accessories not designed for the purpose; l

normal wear and tear; l failure to comply with the technical and safety standards prevailing in the state or country of use; l

devices subjected to shocks or falls; l devices damaged by lightning, voltage surge, heat sources or radiation therefrom, water, exposure to excessive humidity, or any other cause external to the product itself; l

negligence or poor maintenance; l maintenance, modification or repair of the product by persons not authorised by the manufacturer or reseller.

2. COLOCACIÓN MURAL

Para montar su teléfono en la pared, retire la lengüeta de montaje mural e insértela en la posición inversa como se muestra a continuación. Perfore dos orificios de 6 mm de diámetro a una distancia de 70 mm. Coloque dos tacos y dos tornillos (3,5 mm de Ø y 25 mm de largo) sin apretarlos.

3. USO GENERAL

3.1 LNDICACIÓN LUMINOSA DE LLAMADA ENTRANTE / MENSAJE EN ESPERA

Cuando recibe una llamada, el indicador parpadea al mismo ritmo que el timbre.

También se ilumina cuando se toma la línea.

Si está conectado a una centralita telefónica privada ALCATEL equipada con mensajería, el indicador luminoso de mensaje en espera se encenderá para indicarle la presencia de un mensaje en su buzón de voz.

3.2 AJUSTE DEL VOLUMEN DEL MICROTELÉFONO l Pulse la tecla .

Para restaurar el volumen inicial, pulse la tecla .

3.3 TECLA SECRETO

BEEP l La tecla Secreto pone en espera a su interlocutor para que éste no pueda oírle durante su conversación con una tercera persona.

Para reanudar la conversación, vuelva a pulsar la tecla Secreto.

3.4 LLAMAR AL ÚLTIMO NÚMERO MARCADO l

Este producto est á cubierto por una garantía legal y para cualquier información sobre esta garant ía, por favor contacte con su vendedor.

Independientemente de la garantía legal que goza su producto, Thomsom Telecom garantiza la conformidad de los productos con sus especificaciones t écnicas durante un periodo de 12 meses, piezas y mano de obra, a partir de la fecha que figura en el documento que certifica la compra del producto,. El usuario puede hacer efectiva la garant ía en el distribuidor o punto de venta o bien llamando al teléfono de atención al cliente.

La pieza o producto no conforme se reparar á o cambiará por una pieza o producto equivalente sin coste alguno para el cliente; Thomsom Telecom garantiza los equipos reparados por un per íodo de doce meses a partir de la fecha de reparación. Toda pieza o producto cambiado pasa a ser propiedad de Thomson Telecom.

Para hacer efectiva la garantía, el equipo debe enviarse con sus accesorios, documentaci ón y copia de la factura de compra o la tarjeta de garantía cumplimentada, fechada y sellada por el distribuidor o el vendedor.

El producto reparado se garantiza para el defecto subsanado por un per íodo de 6 meses a partir de la fecha de la reparaci ón.

3. USAGE GENERAL

3.1 TEMOIN LUNINEUX D'APPEL / DE MESSAGE EN ATTENTE

Le voyant clignote à la même cadence que la sonnerie quand vous recevez un appel. Il s'éteint dès que vous décrochez.

Si vous êtes relié à un central téléphonique privé ALCATEL avec messagerie, le témoin lumineux de message en attente vous informe de la présence d'un message dans votre boîte vocale.

3.2 REGLER LE VOLUME DU COMBINE l

Appuyer sur la touche .

l Pour revenir au niveau initial, appuyer sur la touche .

3.3 TOUCHE SECRET

La touche Secret met en attente votre correspondant et vous permet de converser avec une tierce personne sans être entendu de votre premier interlocuteur.

l Un bip est émis sur la ligne toutes les 10 secondes.

l Pour reprendre la conversation, appuyer de nouveau sur la touche Secret.

6. SELECTIONNER ET REGLER LA SONNERIE

Vous avez le choix entre quatre mélodies, dont vous pouvez régler le volume lorsque la sonnerie de votre téléphone retentit ou quand vous passez en mode de programmation.

6.1 LORS DE LA RECEPTION D'UN APPEL

Vous pouvez modifier la mélodie au moment où vous recevez un appel.

Les changements apportés sont mémorisés. Vous pouvez prendre l'appel.

7. VERROUILLER LE POSTE

À l'aide d'un mot de passe à 4 chiffres, vous pouvez : l interdire l'accès au réglage du volume de la sonnerie, l interdire l'accès à la configuration pour un usage professionnel, l

limiter les appels à des numéros de téléphone n'excédant pas 6 chiffres.

Le mot de passe initial est 0000.

Ind épendamment de la garantie légale dont les produits bénéficient, le revendeur garantit la conformit é des produits à leurs spécifications techniques pendant une durée de douze

(12) mois, pi èces et main-d’oeuvre, à compter de la date figurant sur la preuve d’achat du produit. Il vous appartient donc de conserver votre facture ou votre ticket de caisse pr écisant la date d ’achat du produit et le nom du revendeur. Néanmoins, si la garantie légale en vigueur dans votre pays exc ède douze (12) mois, la garantie légale est alors seule applicable. 2. WANDANBRINGUNG

Um Ihren Telefonapparat an der Wand anzubringen, den Stift zur Wandanbringung herausziehen und wie unten gezeigt umgekehrt wieder einstecken. Im Abstand von

70 mm zwei 6 mm große Löcher in die Wand bohren. Zwei Dübel einstecken und dann zwei Schrauben (Durchmesser 3,5 mm, Länge 25 mm) eindrehen, ohne sie festzuziehen.

Wenn Sie an ein privates, mit einem Nachrichtenspeicher versehenes ALCA-

TEL-Telefonsystem angeschlossen sind, informiert Sie die Nachrichtenleuchte darüber, dass in Ihrem Nachrichtenspeicher Nachrichten eingegangen sind.

3.2 EINSTELLEN DER LAUTSTÄRKE DES HÖRERS l

Das TEMPORIS 200-Telefon ist nach den europäischen Bestimmungen zugelassen und hat die CE-Markierung erhalten.

Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistung. Informationen erhalten Sie bei Ihrer Verkaufsstelle.

Neben der gesetzlichen Gewährleistung bietet der Händler für die Dauer von zwölf (12)

Monaten ab Übergabe der Ware (Datum auf dem Verkaufsnachweis) eine Herstellergarantie für die Übereinstimmung der Produkte mit ihren technischen Spezifikationen.

Sie müssen also den Verkaufsbeleg (Quittung) mit dem Namen der Verkaufsstelle sorgfältig aufbewahren. Wenn die gesetzlich verankerte Gewährleistung in Ihrem Land jedoch zwölf (12) Monate überschreitet, ist nur diese gesetzlich verankerte Gewährleistung rechtsgültig. Ein nicht konformes Teil oder Produkt wird kostenlos repariert oder durch ein konformes Teil oder Produkt ersetzt, bzw. durch ein Teil oder Produkt, das dem gekauften im Hinblick auf Funktion und Leistungsfähigkeit entspricht. Wenn die Reparatur oder der

Ersatz nicht möglich ist, wird der Kaufpreis zurückerstattet.

3.1 INDICATORE LUMINOSO PER INDICARE LA SUONERIA

Se siete collegati a un sistema telefonico privato ALCATEL dotato di messaggeria, la spia indicante la presenza di messaggi vi informa che avete un messaggio nella vostra messaggeria.

Grazie ad una password di 4 cifre siete in grado di: l proibire l'accesso alla regolazione del volume della suoneria, l proibire l'accesso alla configurazione per uso professionale, l limitare le chiamate ai numeri telefonici che abbiano al massimo 6 cifre.

La password di default è 0000.

L'apparecchio è coperto dalla garanzia legale. Per qualsiasi informazione riguardo detta garanzia, contattare il vostro rivenditore.

Oltre alla garanzia legale, il rivenditore garantisce la conformità dei prodotti alle specifiche tecniche per un periodo di dodici (12) mesi, per i pezzi e la manodopera, dalla data di acquisto che figura sullo scontrino. Siete quindi tenuti a conservare la fattura o lo scontrino che precisano la data di acquisto del prodotto ed il nome del rivenditore. Tuttavia, se la garanzia legale in vigore nel vostro paese è superiore a dodici (12) mesi, verrà applicata unicamente la garanzia legale. 6. DE BELTOON SELECTEREN EN INSTELLEN

6.1 TIJDENS DE ONTVANGST VAN EEN OPROEP

U kunt de melodie wijzigen op het moment dat u een oproep ontvangt.

Om het toestel aan de wand te bevestigen, verwijder eerst het haakje voor bevestiging aan de wand en plaats hem in de omgekeerde positie, zoals aangegeven op de onderstaande figuur. 9. GARANTIE

Wij herinneren u eraan dat TEMPORIS 200 een officieel erkende uitrusting is, conform de Europese voorschriften, waarvan de markering CE getuigt.

Dit product geniet van een wettelijke garantie en voor meer informatie inzake deze garantie, gelieve contact op te nemen met de verkoper van het product.

Afgezien van de wettelijke garantie van het product, garandeert de verkoper de conformiteit van de producten met hun technische eigenschappen gedurende een periode van twaalf (12) maanden, onderdelen en arbeidsloon inbegrepen, ingaand op de datum die op het aankoopbewijs vermeld staat. Het is dus uw eigen verantwoordelijkheid de factuur of de kassabon, waarop de aankoopdatum en de naam van de verkoper vermeld staan, zorgvuldig te bewaren. Als de van kracht zijnde wettelijke garantie in uw land meer dan twaalf (12) maanden bedraagt, dan is echter uitsluitend de wettelijke garantie van toepassing. Het onderdeel of het product dat niet conform is, zal zonder kosten hersteld of vervangen worden door een identiek of minstens in kwaliteit equivalent onderdeel of product, in termen van functionaliteit en prestaties. Als blijkt dat herstelling of vervanging niet mogelijk is, dan zal het product terugbetaald worden.

Het vervangen product of onderdeel dat nieuw of hersteld kan zijn, geniet van een garantie van drie maanden, ingaand op de datum van herstelling ofwel tot aan het einde van de aanvankelijke garantieperiode als deze meer dan drie maanden bedraagt. Alle teruggezonden en vervangen onderdelen of producten worden opnieuw eigendom van de fabrikant.

In de onderstaande gevallen is de garantie niet van toepassing: l een installatie of gebruik, niet conform de in deze handleiding beschreven instructies; l een slechte aansluiting of een abnormaal gebruik van het product, in het bijzonder van accessoires die hiervoor niet bestemd zijn; l een normale slijtage; l het niet respecteren van de van kracht zijnde technische en veiligheidsnormen in de geografische zone waar het toestel wordt gebruikt; l producten die schokken hebben ondergaan of die gevallen zijn; l producten beschadigd door bliksem, elektrische overspanning, warmtebronnen of de stralen ervan, waterschade, blootstelling aan extreem vochtige omgevingen, of alle andere externe oorzaken van productschade; l een onvoldoende onderhoud, nalatigheid; l een ingreep, een wijziging of een herstel, uitgevoerd door een door de bouwer of de verkoper niet bevoegd persoon.

12. VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN VOOR GEBRUIK / TECHNIS-

De TEMPORIS 200 telefonen zijn bestemd om telefoongesprekken uit tezenden en te ontvangen en om aangesloten te worden op het Frans openbaar of privé telecommunicatienetwerk.

(spanning van het telecommunicatienetwerk) aangesloten te worden, volgens de norm

13. MILIEU

Het telefoontoestel dat U heeft gekocht, inclusief gebruikte batterijen, mogen niet met het normaal huishoudelijk afval worden weg gegooid. U doet er goed aan deze terug te brengen naar uw verkoopspunt indien ze moeten worden vervangen, of ze af te leveren in een erkend recycleer centrum.

2. INSTALAÇÃO MURAL

Para instalar o seu telefone na parede, retirar a patilha de montagem na parede e recolocá-la na posição inversa, como abaixo indicado. Perfure dois orifícios de 6 mm de diâmetro, espaçados de 70 mm um do outro. Inserir duas buchas e depois introduzir dois parafusos (3,5 mm de Ø e 25 mm de comprimento), sem os apertar até o fim.

Coloque o cordão na ranhura existente sob o telefone.

3. UTILIZAÇÃO GERAL

3.1 INDICADOR LUMINOSO DE SINALIZAÇÃO DE CHAMADA

/ PRESENÇA DE NOVAS MENSAGENS NO VOICE MAIL

O sinal luminoso fica intermitente, acompanhando a a cadência da melodia, à chegada de uma chamada. Ele se apaga no momento em que você atende.

Se estiver conectado a um sistema telefónico privado ALCATEL equipado com um serviço de mensagens, este sinal luminoso indica-lhe a presença de uma mensagem na sua "caixa de correio".

3.2 AJUSTAR O NIVEL SONORO DO MICROTELEFONE l

Premir a tecla .

l Para voltar ao nível anterior, premir a tecla .

3.3 TECLA SIGILO l A tecla Sigilo deixa em espera o seu interlocutor e permite-lhe conversar com outra pessoa sem ser ouvido pelo primeiro interlocutor.

ção europeia, o que é atestado pela marcação CE.

Este telefone beneficia de uma garantia legal; para qualquer informação relativa a esta garantia, entre em contacto com o seu revendedor.

Independentemente da garantia legal de que o telefone beneficia, o revendedor garante a conformidade do telefone às suas especificações técnicas durante um período de doze

(12) meses, peças e mão de obra, a contar da data que figura na prova de compra do telefone. Deve portanto conservar a sua factura ou o seu ticket de caixa indicando a data de compra do produto e o nome do revendedor. No entanto, se a garantia legal em vigor no seu país exceder doze (12) meses, apenas a garantia legal será aplicável. As peças ou produtos não conformes serão reparados ou trocados, sem custo para o cliente, por peças ou produtos idênticos ou pelo menos equivalentes em termos de funcionalidade e de desempenho. Se a reparação ou substituição se revelarem impossíveis, o produto serlhe-á reembolsado.
