Frequently asked questions

Turn the mixer off, remove the battery cover by turning the screw counter-clockwise. Place the battery strap around a new 9-Volt ALKALINE battery and insert it, following the polarity diagram. Replace the cover and tighten the screw clockwise.

The POWER ON LED turning red indicates that the battery voltage level is low and you should replace the 9-Volt ALKALINE battery with a new one.

Increase the input level control until the corresponding PEAK LED indicator (5) flashes red occasionally during the loudest parts of your recording. If it doesn't light, the level is too low; if it's continuously lit, the level is too high and may cause distortion.

After setting input levels, turning the Limiter switch to ON reduces possible overload distortion from very loud sound levels without affecting normal sound levels. If you prefer the sound without it, leave the switch OFF.

Yes, you can power it externally by moving the power switch to EXT and connecting an optional BC-26U power supply (or a compatible supply not exceeding 12 volts) to the DC 12V Input (17).
