Barcodes
Label Matrix is a third-party application that allows OfficeMate to print barcode
labels to all barcode printers supported by Teklynx Label Matrix. Eyefinity does
not support Teklynx; please contact Teklynx directly for support.

1. Share your printer.
2. Install Label Matrix Pro.
3. Call Teklynx and register Label Matrix Pro using the product’s serial number.

4. Add the remote workstation shared printer as \\name of workstation\name
of printer.
5. Share the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\TKI\License Manager\TkDongle folder with full read and write
permissions.
6. Click Start, select Programs, select Teklynx, select Label Matrix 8, and
select License Manager.
The Label Matrix License Manager opens.
7. Click Start, select Programs, select Teklynx, select Label Matrix 8, and
select Label Matrix.
8. Click OK to continue in demo mode.
9. Click Tools, select Setup, and select Network to record the path to the
Label Matrix license.
10. Record the server name where the Label Matrix is installed (i.e., \\server
name).
11. Click OK to accept the changes and then restart Label Matrix.

12. Go to www.officemate.net/dwnld/Omateqdf.zip and follow the instructions
below:
a. Click Allow, if necessary.
b. Click Open.
c. Right-click on the Omate.qdf file and select Copy.
d. Navigate to the C:\Program Files\LM8\Labels folder.
e. Right-click in the folder and select Paste.

in OfficeMate
1. Open OfficeMate or Home Office.
2. Click Setup and select Product Setup.
The Product Setup window opens.
3. Click the Preferences tab.
4. In the Barcode Label Options area, select the Product Code Column on
bar code radio button.
5. Select Output to Label Matrix from the Barcode Printer drop-down menu.

6. Click the ellipsis (...) button next to the Barcode printer program path and
navigate to the location of the Label Matrix installation program (typically
located in the Program Files\LM8 folder) and click OK.
7. Click the ellipsis (...) button next to the Barcode printer output path and
navigate to the location where the barcode label template is stored and
where OfficeMate or OfficeMate Enterprise should store the barcode label
data so that Label Matrix can print it (typically located in the Program
Files\LM8\Labels folder) and click OK.
8. Select the Yes radio button next to the Barcode Label Options that you
want to appear on your barcode labels.
9. Click OK to close the Product Setup window.
