- Always ensure good ventilation. Do not obstruct ventilation openings or grilles.

Use the front floor area of the fridge compartment only to set down food to be refrigerated temporarily, e.g., when rearranging or sorting the contents of the fridge. Do not leave the food there, as it may be pushed back or tipped over when the door is closed.
u Do not store food too close together to enable sufficient air circulation.
u To ensure bottles do not tip over: move the bottle holder.
The temperature can be set from 35 °F (2 °C) to 48 °F (9 °C),

Insert the short glass plate into the top of the gallon capacity rack so that that door closes properly. It is supported on support bars.

Insert the shelf with the raised edge to the back pointing upwards.

This prevents food from contacting and freezing to the back wall.
The bottle holder offers additional storage for bottles
(maximum height 11-13/16 '' (300 mm)). It fits onto the same supports as the other racks.
u Insert the bottle holder into any position, but not right at the bottom.

To remove the vegetable drawers: u Pull the vegetable drawer completely out and tilt it slightly forward.
w With the bottom drawer, the drawer locking device also releases, and the drawer can be removed.
u Push the protruding telescopic rails back in.
u Push rack up, pull forward, and reinsert in the reverse order.
The container trays can be removed and placed on the table as a unit.
One or both containers can be used. If you plan to store very tall bottles, attach only the wide container above the bottle rack.
Instead of one wide container and one small container, a special set containing three small containers is available from Customer Service.
u To swap containers: pull up to remove and reinsert in the desired position.
u To remove the cover: open 90° and pull up to release.

To insert the vegetable drawers: u Place the vegetable drawer on the telescopic rails and slide it back while applying light pressure.
w With the bottom drawer, the drawer locking device also snaps into place, and the vegetable drawer is seated securely on the telescopic rails.
The fridge compartment defrosts automatically. The defrosted water will evaporate. Drops of water on the back wall are a functional feature; this is completely normal.
u Clean the drain opening regularly so that the
condensation water can drain away. (see 6.2)

u Do not let cleaning water get into the drain gutter, the ventilation grille and electrical parts.

Empty the appliance.
- Use soft cleaning cloths and a multi-purpose cleaning agent with a neutral pH value.
- Only use food-compatible cleaning and care agents inside the appliance.
u Clean the ventilation grills regularly.
w Dust deposits increase energy consumption.
u Clean the plastic surfaces inside and out by hand using lukewarm water and a little dishwashing liquid.
u If dirty clean stainless steel external surfaces with a commercially available stainless steel cleaning agent.
Then apply the supplied stainless steel cleaning agent evenly in the direction of the grain.*
Do not apply stainless steel cleaning agents to glass or plastic surfaces so as not to scratch them. Initially darker areas and quite an intensive color of the stainless steel surfaces are normal.*
Stainless steel which is exposed to chlorine gas or dampness may become discolored. This is normal. If your appliance is exposed to chlorine gas or dampness, clean and polish it more frequently. If there are any signs of rust or discoloration, clean and polish the appliance as soon as possible.* u To clean the drain opening: remove deposits with a thin instrument, e.
g. a cotton bud.
Accessories:

Clean accessories by hand using lukewarm water and a little dishwashing liquid.

Your appliance is designed and manufactured for reliable operation and a long lifespan. If a malfunction nonetheless occurs during operation, please determine if the
malfunction is due to an operating error. If a service call determines operator error, you will be charged for the costs incurred, even during the warranty period. You may be able to rectify the following problems yourself:
Problem
The appliance does not work.
The compressor runs for a long time.
Noises are too loud.
Possible Cause
The appliance is not switched on.
The power plug is not properly inserted in the wall socket.

The fuse in the wall socket is not OK. u Check the fuse.
Power failure u Keep the appliance closed.
u Protect the food: place dry ice on top of the food or use a use an alternate freezer, if the power failure persists for some time.

This is normal in energy-saving models.
When less refrigeration is required, the speed-controlled compressor switches to a low speed. Although the running time is increased as a result, energy is saved.
SuperCool function is activated.

The compressor runs long to rapidly cool food. This is normal.
u These noises are normal.
The different speed levels of speedcontrolled* compressors can cause them to generate various noises during operation.
u The sound is normal.
A faint clicking sound
A hum. It is briefly a little louder when the refrigeration unit
(the motor) switches on.
A low hum
Vibration noise
Flow noise on the soft stop mechanism.
The sound always occurs when the refrigeration unit (the motor) automatically switches on or off.
The refrigeration increases automatically when the SuperCool function is activated, fresh food has just been placed in the appliance or the door has been left open for a while.

Problem
The temperature display

. The warmest temperature reached during the power failure is displayed in the temperature display.
Possible Cause
There is a fault.
Correction
u Contact the customer service department. (see
Maintenance).
The freezer temperature rose too high during the last hours or days due to power failure or power interruption.
When the power interruption is over, the appliance will continue to operate at the last temperature setting.

To delete the display of the warmest temperature:
Press the Alarm button Fig. 2 (1) .

Check the quality of the food. Do not consume spoiled food. Do not re-freeze defrosted food.
The demo mode is activated.

DEMO lights up in the temperature display.
The temperature is not cold enough.
The interior light is not on.
The door of the appliance is not closed properly.
The door was open for longer than 15 minutes.
The LED light is faulty or the cover is damaged:

The warranty applies only to products installed in any one of the fifty states of the United States or the District of

The remedies described above for each warranty are the only ones which Liebherr will provide, either under these warranties or under any warranty arising by operation of law. Sabbath mode allows you to use the refrigerator during religious holidays without any lights, digits, icons, tones, alarms or fans.
The fridge compartment defrosts automatically. The defrosted water will evaporate. Drops of water on the back wall are a functional feature; this is completely normal. Clean the drain opening regularly so that the condensation water can drain away.
How to change the temperature display to Celsius?
Press and hold the SuperCool button for 5 seconds until 'S' appears. Use the Up or Down buttons to select the '°' symbol, then press SuperCool. Use the Up or Down buttons to select '°C' and press SuperCool to confirm.
