Congratulation for having chosen a fine engine product of Vittorazi Motors.
Following are instruction and advice on how to get the best performance and
life for your engine.
Remember that the reliability and the performances of your motor also
depend to a large extent on the care with which you operate and carry out
the scheduled engine maintenance.
Therefore be sure to read and follow the manual advice:
1. Filling the fuel circuit
In the first starting of the motor and every time the fuel circuits remains without fuel
( tank, pipe gasoline, manual pomp, pomp carburator ) before starting the motor the
fuel circuit must be filled. To do this without leaving any air in the system its
necessary to pump the fuel with the designate pump and push the valve in the
carburator until the fuel tube is completely full.
Only when the motor is not warm it is necessary accelerate for a good starting. Once
the engine is running wait 1 minute to warm up and allow the carburator pump to
completely fill the fuel circuit.
Now you accelerate and decelerate very softly. If the motor is warm and circuit in
pressure is not necessary attend 1 minute.
2. Standard carburetor setting
When purchased, the motor has a standard carburator setting and testing. To modify,
this one must adjust the two screws of the carburator. The screw on the right marked
with a L (low) regulates the entrance of fuel at the low speed (the range of the
accelerator from zero to half).
The screw on the left marked H (high) regulates the air fuel mix higher speeds.
It is extremely important to both maximum engine efficiency and engine life, to
understand and keep in tune your carburator setting.
There are two fuel to air carburator setting which function in the following manner:
L screw adjust: rotate (clockwise until completely closed).
Now carefully open the screw counter-clockwise between 1/4 and 1/3 turn ( turning
the screw out in the counter-clockwise direction enrich the mix/fuel to air ratio). This
is the standard factory setting for L.
With the H (meaning High rpm) screw follow the same procedure and turn it
clockwise until full closed.
Now paying close-attention, open the H screw between 1 and 1 +1/4 turn to arrive
at the standard factory setting.
Keep in mind that these setting are extremely sensitive and the total sum of all
adjustment you make to the screw should not exceed ¼ of a turn. Increments of
1/10th of a turn are already sufficient to change engine performance.
In particular be careful not to run your machine at the “too poor” of a fuel to airmixture, as this can result in possible overheating and engine damage due to lack of
cylinder lubrification.
Pay much attention to the carburator setting at the maximum since if this mixture is
too poor, it can result in engine damage. No damage is done if the setting is too rich.
Therefore, when in doubt, it is better to have carburation, at the maximum rpm,
somewhat more on the rich side.
A verification of carburation can be done after the engine has run 20-30 minutes
checking of the colour of the spark plug electrode. If the electrode is brown the
carburation is correct. If is grey, its poor and if its is black its rich.
Attention: If the carburation should happen to be difficult to adjust by listening to
engine runs, this means that the fuel tube is absorbing air from the pump (in this case
is better to change it) or else from the connections between the tank and the
carburator. The air bubbles are easily seen, while the engine is running they are seen
passing through the tube.
3. Engine break-in
The engine run in completed after 8 - 10 hour of normal use.
Use the follow safety advice.
A - To regulate rich the carburization of the High screw at 1+1/4 turn (screw H).
B - Used fuel with oil until at 3 – 3.5 % full synthetic oil.
We suggest: Motul 600 at 3 – 3.5 %; Motul 800 at 3 %; Castrol TTS at 3 – 3.5 %.
C - You not stay accelerated totally if not the time tightly necessary.
D - You check every times (each 15 - 20 minutes) when the motor is not warm up,
the fix of all the screws.
E - You avoid the run of motor without propeller.
4. Fuel
Used super gasoline and synthetic oil at 2.5 - 3 %. Oil synthetic recommend Motul
600 at 3 %, Motul 800 at 2.5 %, Castrol TTS at 2.5 %.
You avoid of use mixture already prepared from the distributor. A mixture prepared
from much time could remove performances and damage your motor. If prepared
possible your mixture and use you it in the time of two weeks.
We suggest to avoid fuel v-power or fuel that improve the number of octanes.
5. Program of verifications and maintenances
We advise to follow this program of verifications and maintenances:
After 5 minutes of operation
Stop engine and wait that is cooled.
Check all bolts are tight.
After 30 minutes of operation
Repeat the nut and bolt check. Verify the
carburization with the colour of spark
plug.
After 5 hours of operation
Repeat the above check and repeat each
following 5 hours.
After 25 hours of operation
Replace spark plug with one of the same
specification.
After 35 hours of operation
Check that the reduction gear hasn't
escaped of oil.
After 50 hours of operation
Verify the correct operation of the
mechanical parts of the pull start.
Replace 20ml of oil in the reduction gear.
You can ask to your dealer or directly to
the manufacture toward the kind of oil.
After 100 hours of operation
We advice to replace: engine block oil
seals, reduction oil seals, piston rings,
fibreglass insert in the silencer, O-rings
exhaust, spark plug. If necessary:
centrifugal clutch, silent blocks.
Check: right operation of the silentblocks, internal passages of carburator.
After 200 hours of operation
We advice to replace the same pieces like
100 hours and change also complete
piston, engine block bearing, membranes
of the carburator.

In the case that the owner intends to service or repair the engine in is own remember
that the phase of assemblage of the group cylinder-piston-head, the squish tolerance
( distance between the top of the piston and the cylinder head ) must not be inferior
to 1,00 mm for the model Fly100evo.
6. Remember…
…that YOU are the only one responsible for the motor that you have acquired and for
the use that you will have.
Any responsibility can be imputed to the builder or to the retailer of the motor for any
problem found in its use.
Each motor before the delivery has been tested for half hour, to guaranteed the
reliability and accordingly your safety. The motor is covered with guarantee for six
months from the date of purchase.
We Remember that in guarantee, will come replace those parts recognized from the
builder like defective since the origin. Warranty not included electric and electronic
parts or damaged caused by a wrong use of the motor, parts modify that have
provoked breakups on the same and on other components.
