Follow the instructions provided in the manual to install the filter cartridge, ensuring it is screwed in straight and not overtightened.

The unit comes with adapters for faucets with outside or inside threads. If your faucet has no threads, you will need to contact your Multipure Distributor or Customer Service Department for a special expandable adapter.

It is recommended that filters be replaced annually or sooner if needed, based on the amount of water used and the level of impurities in your water.

The system is certified to reduce various contaminants, including chlorine, taste and odor, lead, mercury, cysts, and volatile organic chemicals (VOCs). Refer to the performance data sheet in the manual for a complete list.

What causes low water pressure from the spigot?

A diminished flow rate from the spigot often indicates that the filter cartridge needs replacement, as it may be saturated with impurities from the water.

How to troubleshoot low water pressure immediately after replacing the filter?

If low water pressure occurs immediately after filter replacement, it may be due to trapped air or the filter not being fully flushed. You should purge the system by running water for about 5 minutes (10 minutes for Model MP880SC) to release trapped air, and then run water to waste for approximately 20 minutes (30 minutes for Model MP880SC) to properly flush the filter and charge the carbon.
