Datavideo HS-500 Mobile Studio

The HS-500 is a light weight hand-carried solution for transporting and using a Datavideo SE-500 switcher and a dual screen TLM-702 monitor as one unit. The dual screen TLM-702 monitor is pre-wired to use one screen for selectable quad-view of each source and the other screen for program output. It’s perfect for applications within education, houses of worship, internet streaming, live events, conferences and more. Outputs include: component (YUV) which could be connected to a DVD recorder or projector. As with all Datavideo products, the HS-500 works on 12vDC or local power.

CG (Character Generation) can be applied by using our Datavideo CG-100 and a downstream keyer card that overlays text and graphics on the program output (via a computer).

The Datavideo HS-600 is a light weight Standard Definition Mobile Studio which combines an eight input switcher with a talkback system and a multi-view 17-inch high quality LCD screen. The system is powered from a power distribution system, which provides a secure power supply to each device from one connection.

The HS-600 is designed to excel and meet your demands whether you're working in worship, education, conducting a live outside broadcast or shooting inside a production studio. Datavideo HS-2000 & HS-2000L Mobile Studios

Datavideo’s HS-2000 is a hand-carried, mobile studio that simplifies the workflow of any HD-SDI production venue. The HS-2000 combines 1 or 2 DVI-D sources and 3 or 4 HD-SDI sources. Based on the SE-2000 switcher, it also features a 17” LCD (LED Backlit) monitor to display a multi-view output.

The built-in 4 channel audio mixer comes with a 5 channel wired intercom, complete with headsets, tally lights, and intercom belt packs for 4 users.

The HS-2000L is the lightweight evolution of the HS-2000. It sports a lighter plastic carrying case

(instead of aluminum), and an ITC-100 8-channel intercom/tally system.

Datavideo’s MS-900 is a ready-to-go 8-input SD studio in a flight pack that includes a switcher with a multiview output, recorder with a removable hard drive, intercom, tally lights, and a 17” monitor, all connected to a power supply that works on 12v or local power. The SE-900 switcher accepts any combination of up to eight input boards for DV, SDI, DVI,VGA, YUV, S-Video and Composite Video.

The SE-900 is a two-piece eight input SD switcher designed for flexibility and ease-of-use. The SE-900 accepts any combination of up to eight input boards for DV, SDI, DVI,VGA, YUV, S-Video and

Composite Video. Option cards include: 2 channel chromakey, external genlock and SDI output. The

SE-900 is sold pre-configured as “kits” or without input and option cards. If you purchase the cards at the same time as the switcher we will install and test them for you (no charge).

It’s the ability to choose -- inputs, outputs, and more! The MS-900 & SE-900 are unique because they let user assemble the system to their own personal specifications. Need SDI input? How about DVI-D and Analog inputs? What if all eight input channels need to accept video from eight DV cameras? NO

PROBLEM! And what if the system needs to be revised a month later or a year down the line? Look no further! Our systems supports all of that.

The MS-900 and SE-900 include four default cards -- one for the multi-view screen, one RS-232/422

Remote Control Card, a card for SDI overlay, and one for analog & DV output. Next are the inputs -- any combination of the four available input card types can be made to have up to eight total input cards. Meaning, the system can use two of each input card (2x4=8), eight of one input card (1x8=8), or any other combination. In addition, there are three optional cards to choose from for bonus features. • Analog Input Card (900-YUV) - For users who require input from a range of popular analog video

formats including Composite Video, S-Video (Y/C) and Component (Y:U:V). Built-in TBC syncs each

input, enabling non-genlock gear to be used without glitches. Features a useful Composite Video

monitor output, for easy connection to an external preview monitor.

• DV Input Card (900-DV25) - For users who work with digital video (DV). The DV input board also

de-embeds the audio to a pair of balanced outputs.

• SDI Input Card (900-SDI) - For users who work with SDI. Also Includes audio de-embedding to a

balanced pair. Features a useful CV monitor output for easy connection to an external preview monitor.

• DVI-D/VGA Input Card (900-DVI) - Connect a computer and switch between live video and

presentation applications and more. Perfect for live events like worship and company presentations.

Features a Composite monitor output, for easy connection to an external preview monitor.

Optional Cards -- Choose up to One of Each

• Four-Channel Chromakey Card (900-DVK) Create a virtual chromakey video studio with

glitch-free switching between up to four video inputs. You can pair 4 foregrounds (e.g. talent/actor

in front of the camera) and backgrounds (like 3D backgrounds). The internal TBC takes care of

synchronizing. Even non-genlock equipment, like consumer camcorders can be used.

• SDI Output Card (900-SDI-0) - For users who work with SDI. There are two SDI outputs and one

Black burst output. Audio from MS-900’s XLR input is automatically embedded into the SDI stream.

• Genlock Card (900-GENLOCK) - The Genlock card allows the SE-900 to accept an external

reference signal. This is typically used in a studio where a single references signal must be used.

• DVI Multi Card (900-DVI-MULTI) - The multi-image output display allows all inputs, program, &

next source output to be displayed on a single monitor, with super-imposed tally and source info to

assist the producer in a hectic live production environment.

• RS-232/422 External Control Card (GB391-REMOTE) - RS-232, RS-422 & GPI control interface

board allows easy integration with existing equipment that can be controlled such as tape recorders

and players or presentation control panels.

• SDI Overlay Card (GB391-CG) - A down stream keyer (DSK) board that offers both internal and

external keying options. Perfect for integration with character generator hardware/software such

as Datavideo’s CG-100 or CG-350.

• Analog/DV Output Card (GB391-VOUT + GB354-DV-391) - For a range of popular video

The SE-500 is a compact and light weight, 4-channel SD video/audio switcher with built-in TBCs that accept S-Video (Y/C) and Composite Video signals. In addition to S-Video and Composite Video, the

SE-500 also provides Component (Y:U:V) output. Features include dissolves, flicker free cuts, wipes, splits, PiP and a color processor. The SE-500 is ideal for small churches, schools, clubs, pubs, and anywhere that you want a low cost, extremely reliable and simple to use video and audio switcher. It has a selectable multi-view output of the four inputs meaning you only need two video monitors, one for the source and one for program output. The SE-500 can be manually operated or controlled via

Datavideo SE-2000 & SE-2000R Switchers

The SE-2000 is an HD-SDI switcher that is ideal for small live production venues that use up to 5 inputs. By combining 1 or 2 DVI-D sources and 3 or 4 HD-SDI sources, any user can make the most of this flexible unit. The HD-SDI inputs may be HD cameras or small HDMI output cameras that can be used with a Datavideo DAC-9, HDMI to HD-SDI converter (not included).

The SE-2000’s multi-display output includes each source, preview display, program display, PIP, and a digital clock display. In addition, the system will store and recall 14 different logos. It has 5 memory settings (user-defined) and title overlay. The SE-2000’s built-in audio mixer has four audio-follows-video inputs (microphone or line), and two audio outputs. Operating the SE-2000 is easy and time-efficient because every control is right on the work surface. As with all Datavideo products, the SE-2000 works on 12vDC or local power.

The SE-2000R is the rack-mounted version of the SE-2000, minus audio functionality and the T-Bar for switching. It is controllable via RS-232 Control.

HD/SD live production switcher filled with an impressive number of features and functions. For example, it has a touch screen to select EFX, stills, and balance colors. Using a touch screen means that the operator does not have to remember effect numbers and can see what they are selecting.
