NEO by AlphaSmart:
Connecting the NEO to Your
Computer
1. Connect the USB connector to
your computer.
2. On your computer, open the
software where you want to send the
text (Microsoft Word, Open Office,
etc.).
3. On the Neo, open the file you want
to transfer to the computer.
4. Connect the square end of the
cable to the Neo. Wait for the
computer to recognize the keyboard.
5. You will see a message:
Attached to PC, emulating
keyboard. Press send to transfer
File.
6. Press Send. Your text appears on
your computer screen.
7. Unplug the cable from the Neo.
