GusNET Setup for Windows Secure Wireless ****ALL STUDENTS need to go to http://www.pittstate.edu/wireless/ and click on the secure wifi setup link (https://go.pittstate.edu/iss/secure.wifi.setup) before attempting to setup any devices. Click the Internet Access button. Select GusNET-­‐Guest and click Connect. Type in the username and password you use to log into GUS. Type in a description for the device. Dialog boxes may appear at the bottom of your screen Device registration will begin. ***During this process you may see dialog boxes appear at the bottom of the browser. The first may ask about saving your password – click “Never for this site” The next may ask you to install the Cisco app – Click “Install” The final one may ask about AutoComplete – Click “No” Depending on your computer and browser these boxes may or may not appear. A Security Warning Dialog box may appear. Click Run. The Network Setup Assistant box will open and requires retyping your password. This is the password you use to log into GUS. A Security Warning dialog box will open. Click Run. Network Setup will run. Once the Network Setup is completed a green checkmark will appear. Click Exit. Close your browser. Open the Internet Access window. Click on GusNET. If it is not already connected, click connect. Your setup is complete. ">
