Directions for Registering
for
Wyoming History Day Regional Contests
Step 1: Log on using the following URL: http://wy.nhd.org
Step 2: Click on “On Line Registration” and read “Welcome to On Line Registration”. Please
read any of the tutorials that apply to your status. E.g. student
NOTE THAT THE STUDENT’S TEACHER MUST REGISTER BEFORE THE
STUDENT IS ALLOWED TO REGISTER.
Step 3: Now click on YOUR “Regional (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7) Contest” at the bottom of the
Welcome to Registration page.
Step 4: Please read the information on this page. Choose the registrant type that best
describes you from the pull down menu at the bottom of the page and submit.
Step 5: If you are a first time visitor you must click where it says; “Click here to begin”. Fill out
the required fields and submit. This will then bring you back to the log in page.
Step 6: Now you can log in. This takes you to your information page. Fill out the required
fields and submit. You can stop and hit log out and save but you must remember your
username and password so write it down.
Step 7: Click on “Email me a confirmation of my registration”.
Step 8: Choose one of the following: “Save and Log Out” or “Confirm Registration and Review
Fee Summary. If you choose the latter one you will move on to Steps 9, 10, and 11.
Step 9: Read the instructions carefully and then click on “Save and Continue”.
Step 10: Read “Online Payment Options” and then click on “Click to Proceed”.
Step 11: Finally, Log Out.
Again, remember your username and password so write it down.
