Frequently asked questions

Open the printhead and media guide, mount the media roll, thread it through the media guide and printhead, close the media guide and printhead. Make sure the media touches the inside stop of the media guide.

Use a cleaning pen to gently rub the amber area of the printhead. Allow it to dry for 1 minute before loading labels.

The printer has flash memory to store configuration settings, including speed, density, form length and gap, form width, serial port settings, margin, buffer mode, and options. These settings can be found on the Dump mode printout or reported back to the host via the serial port or USB interfaces.

Run the printer's AutoSense routine to calibrate it for new media. The printer will measure the label, liner, and gap parameters and print a configuration status label.

The Label Peel Mode presents a single peeled label and winds the backing. Removing the presented label prompts the printer to print the next label.
