The following document is a quick guide to using the lighting control panels in AT101, AT102, AT301 and AT302.
On the adjustable height podium, next to the desktop monitor and opposite the AMX Classroom AV control panel, is a
white touch panel interface, flush mounted to the surface of the podium. This allows you to adjust lighting levels in the
room.
If the panel is darkened, simply press anywhere on the screen to awaken it.
Under the Presets tab, you can then select
any of the 4 configured lighting presets, or
you can turn everything Off.
1. Lecture Preset – all lighting at 100%.
2. Data Preset – turns off front zones and
center of room, to prevent data projector
image from washing out on screen. Aisle
lighting reduced to 75%.
3. OvrHead Preset – turns off front pot
lights and slightly dims remaining zones.
4. Video Preset – turns off front zones and
center of room while dimming aisle lighting
to 25%, for optimal video screening.
Under the Zones tab, you can manually adjust the fluorescent lighting levels for specific zones. Simply press the up or
down arrow next to the corresponding zone you wish to adjust. The current level is depicted by the corresponding slider
or a numerical percentage at the top of each zone. At any time, press the Presets tab to select one of the preset lighting
levels mentioned above, to return to a previous state.
Under the Zones 2 tab, you can manually adjust the pot light levels for a specific zone, as well as the chalkboard
lighting. The current level is depicted by the corresponding slider or a numerical percentage at the top of each zone. As
above, press the up or down arrow next to the corresponding zone to adjust. Select any of the preset lighting levels
from the Presets tab to return to a previous state.
