Pre-heating the appliance
Insert the appliances plug into the electrical outlet. The doughnut makers red light will now illuminate.
Select the required baking temperature.
Keep the hot plates In the closed position and allow the appliance to preheat for 5 minutes.
When the green light appears the appliance is fully pre-heated.
Apply a small amount of butter or oil to the surface of the hot plates.
4. When the green light comes back on, check to see if the doughnuts are cooked. Remove the doughnuts using a non-metallic utensil. If you wish to darken the doughnuts a little more, leave the doughnuts on the heating plates for a little longer.

Pour the batter into the designated holes. The green light will now go on and off as the baking cycle begins.
Close the heating hot plates so that the safety clip is securely locked on the heating plates. Do not re-open the hot plates until the green light appears on the appliance again.
Halfway through the baking process, at around two and a half minutes, flip the lid of the doughnut maker by holding the folding handle. This will ensure that the appliance cooks the doughnuts evenly on both sides.

Cleaning and maintenance
Always switch off the appliance, unplug it from the electrical supply and allow it to cool before cleaning.
Wipe off any excess crumbs and oil left on the appliance with a paper towel. Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance for cleaning.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. The appliance is not dishwasher safe.

Never use metal utensils on the appliance as they will damage the nonstick coating of the surface. Only use plastic or wooden utensils.
