Microphone Insertion Directions

Insert the microphone into the headset by lining up the small dot on the microphone with the small dot on the headset .

Firmly press the microphone into place .

Rotate the microphone in a clockwise direction until it stops .

Master Volume: Use to adjust the master volume of game audio .

Press in to mute the volume of the game audio .

Sound Field Buttons: To adjust the volume of each channel individually, first press one of the “Individual Sound Field Switches” and then adjust the

Master Volume . The color will change based upon the volume level (Green

> Blue > White > Cyan > Red) . Repeat this for all sound fields you wish to adjust . To adjust Master Volume after this, you must wait 3 seconds for all the channels to illuminate .

To reset the volume of all channels to the same level, simply adjust the

Master Volume level all the way to the lowest level, then turn it back up again .

Mic Mute: Slide the mic mute switch down to mute the microphone so others cannot hear you .

Voice Communication Volume and SVM Control: Use to adjust the volume of the voices of other players . SVM = Selectable Voice Monitoring . SVM allows the user to hear his or her own voice through the headset . Push in to turn

SVM ON/OFF .

Xbox LIVE Port: Use to connnect to Xbox LIVE .

Time Delay Zone Selector:

Toggle to change the time delay selections between the front and center channels to the front and rear channels .

(OFF = Center, ON = Rear)

Time Delay Button: Enables time delay adjustment mode . Reverts back to volume mode after 4 seconds or if pressed again .

Pro Logic II button: This will toggle Pro Logic II ON or OFF . LED will illuminate when Pro Logic II is active .

NOTE: When Dolby Pro Logic II is “ON” with an audio source that is 2-channel, the audio will then be converted to 5 .1-channel sound . When Dolby Pro Logic II is “OFF” with an audio source that is 2-channel, the audio will remain 2-channel stereo . When the source signal is Dolby 5 .1, Pro

Logic II is automatically disabled .

Connect to Xbox 360

Remove protective caps from the optical cable .

Plug one end of the optical cable into the rear of the gaming console .

Plug the other end of the optical cable into the Decoder Box .

Connect Power Adapter to Decoder Box . Plug Power Adapter into wall outlet .

Plug the headset connector into the Decoder Box .

Be sure to connect the Xbox LIVE communication cable in the proper order:

1. Connect Xbox LIVE cable into Xbox LIVE port on the in-line controller .

2 . Connect puck side of Xbox LIVE cable

into Xbox 360-compatible controller .

Power ON the gaming console and the Decoder Box .

In the Xbox Dashboard, select System Settings > Console Settings > Audio

> Digital Output and select “Dolby Digital 5 .1 .” Watch to ensure that the

“Dolby Digital” light on the audio controller illuminates as a game or movie starts . To confirm Xbox LIVE settings, press the “Xbox Guide Button” when a game is loaded, and go to Personal Settings > Voice . Ensure that

“Headset Only” is selected .

Connect to PS3

Remove protective caps from the optical cable .

Plug one end of the optical cable into the rear of the gaming console . Plug the other end of the optical cable into the Decoder Box .

Plug one end of the USB Cable to a USB port on the console . Plug the other end of the USB Cable into the Decoder Box .

Connect Power Adapter to Decoder Box . Plug Power Adapter into wall outlet .

Plug the headset into the Decoder Box .

Power ON the gaming console and the Decoder Box .

On the PS3 go to Settings > Sound Settings > Audio Output Settings and change the audio output to be “Optical Digital .”

On the PS3 go to Settings > Accessory Settings > Audio Device Settings, and set both the input and output to “TRITTON PRO+ Headset .” You can see a visual confirmation that the microphone is functioning if the bar graph moves .

If you are using a DTS-compatible game or movie, and the “Dolby Digital” light on the decoder box does not illuminate, you must disable DTS 5.1 audio on your PlayStation 3. To do so, navigate to Settings > Sound Settings >

Audio Output Settings > Optical Digital in the XrossMediaBar™ and ensure that “Dolby Digital 5.1 Ch.” is checked, and “DTS 5.1 Ch.” is unchecked.

WARRANTY

2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Mad Catz warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period . This non-transferable, two- (2) year limited warranty is only to you, the first end-user purchaser . If a defect covered by this warranty occurs AND you provide proof of purchase, Mad Catz, at its option, will repair or replace the product at no charge .

The Mad Catz two- (2) year limited warranty is available to North American and European customers .

Your sole and exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of your Mad Catz product . In no event shall

Mad Catz liability exceed the original purchase price of the product . This warranty does not apply to: (a) normal wear and tear or abusive use; (b) industrial, professional or commercial use; (c) if the product has been tampered with or modified .

To receive warranty service, you must:

CAUTIONS

• Long-term exposure to loud music or other sounds in headphones may cause hearing damage. It is best to avoid extreme volume levels when using headphones, especially for extended periods .

• Use this unit only as intended.

• To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture. Do not use within 30’ of any water such as swimming pools, bathtubs, or sinks .

• To avoid electrical shock, do not disassemble. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.

• Stop using this unit immediately if you begin to feel tired or if you experience discomfort or pain in your hands and/or arms while operating the unit . If the condition persists, consult a doctor .

• Avoid prolonged use of this unit. Take breaks every 30 minutes.

• Route all cords so that they are not likely to be walked on or tripped over. Make sure that cords are not placed in a position or areas where they may become pinched or damaged .

• Do not wrap cords around any part of anyone’s body.

• Do not allow children to play with cords.

• This product contains small parts that may cause choking if swallowed . Not intended for use by children under 3 years of age .

• This unit should be operated only from the power source indicated on the unit. If you are not sure of the type of electrical power supplied to your home, contact your local power company .

• Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords beyond their capacity, since doing so can cause fire or electric shock .
