If you’re using this equipment to replace an old digital receiver, make sure to return that old
equipment to us, to avoid incurring additional charges. Here’s what we’ll need from you:
• Secure the equipment with the packaging included in your shipping box.

• Place the pre-paid return label over the original shipping label.
• Drop off the box at your local Spectrum store or the nearest FedEx Office® location.

Care/Tips/Troubleshooting
• The time on the digital receiver will appear. If it doesn’t, be sure the power
cord is attached properly.
• Wrong Time: If the time on your digital receiver does not reflect the correct
time then your digital receiver is not receiving a signal. Verify that the Coax
cable is firmly connected to your wall outlet and “Cable In” on the back of
the digital receiver.
• Blank screen after pressing power: Verify that the cable being used is
connected firmly into both your TV and digital receiver. Also, verify that
the proper input is selected on your TV.
• Make sure your outlet is not controlled by an on/off wall switch.
• To connect through other devices (DVD, VCR, Game System, etc),

Connect the
power cord
Connect the power cord provided
in this kit to the “Power” input on
the digital receiver. Plug the other end into an
electrical outlet.
When the digital receiver displays
the time, use your TV’s remote
control to turn the TV back on and
tune to the proper HDMI Input.

POWER CORD
Once your equipment is connected, it
will automatically begin downloading
the latest system updates. This will
take up to 10 minutes, and during this
time you will see a series of messages
and characters. Once this is complete
you’ll see an activation message on
your TV.

disconnect your equipment during
this time. Once complete, live TV
will automatically turn on.

activate. My TWC® app is available
at twc.com/apps.
Sign in with a TWC ID.
Tap on “Troubleshooting”, then
select “Activate New Equipment”.
Call 1-877-309-5869.
If prompted, enter the 10-digit
phone number associated with
your account.
Say “ACTIVATE”. No hold required.
Tip: If there is still a black screen after
15 minutes tune to a new channel with
your digital receiver remote.
Tip: For ideal viewing in HD, update your
output resolution to 1080i through the
Settings button on your remote.
