Download the binary file (esets.arch.ext.bin) from ESET.com and run the appropriate script for your OS distribution and architecture.

You need 250MB of hard-disk space, 256MB of RAM, glibc 2.3.6 or later, and a 2.6.x and later Linux OS kernel version.

Run an OS-related installation package as described in the Installation section. All parameters from the ESETS configuration file are set automatically during the upgrade.

Run the script @SBINDIR@/esets_setup and select the MDA and inbound install options.

The Handle Object Policy mechanism provides filtering for scanned objects based on their status.

Create the following group section within the special configuration file ‘esets_smtp_spec.cfg’: [black-list] action_av = "reject"
