CHARGE the Amigo with mini USB charger
Turn the Amigo ON. The constant
LED will confi rm ON status. This button is also the OFF button
Plug in the microphone
Clip on the microphone and begin talking

To MUTE, quickly press the ON button. The LED will fl ash to confi rm
MUTE status
AUXILIARY inputs can be plugged into Amigo. E.g. TV,
Music player, Computer

Checklist
No power/ no LED light on Amigo
LED light on Amigo fl ashing green
Student reports no sound
Student reports static sound
Action
Check, change or charge battery
Note: Amigo can run on a regular AA battery
Indicates low battery – charge Amigo or insert new AA battery
Check microphone connection
Check audio shoe connection on hearing aid
Is Amigo muted? (Is the red LED fl ashing?)
Is Amigo turned on (Is the LED constant red?)
If the receiver has an LED, check it is fl ashing or constant red
Check microphone cord is straight, free of kinks and knots
Check or change channel with up and down arrow button
