PHONE BUTTONS/SETTINGS

1. MESSAGES BUTTON – Access Voice Mail a. Press the messages button to access voice mail.

2. DIRECTORIES BUTTON – Missed, Received & Placed Call Log (100 each) a. Press the directories button. b. Select Missed Calls, Received Calls or Placed Calls. c. To dial a displayed number, highlight number and press Dial soft key.

3 . DIRECTORIES BUTTON – Corporate Directory a. Press the directories button. b. Select Corporate Directory. c. Using the dial pad, input first name, last name or extension number. d. Press Search soft key to search directory. e. To dial a displayed number, highlight number and press Dial soft key.

Note: If the person is on the phone you will see a raised handset to the left of the name. If the person is in Do Not Disturb, you will see a circle with a line through it, to the left of the person’s name.

5. SETTINGS BUTTON – Ring Type a. Press the settings button. b. Select User Preferences. (This step may or may not apply.) c. Select Ring Type using scroll keys. d. Select Default Ring e. Highlight and press Play to hear ring. f. Press Select to set ring type.

6. SERVICES BUTTON a. Press the services button. b. Use the Scroll button to locate desired service. c. Press Services button to exit.

7. ? BUTTON – Help a. To display help for any button, press ? and the button.

8. VOLUME BUTTON – Ringer Volume

button to adjust.

9. VOLUME BUTTON – Handset/Headset/Speaker Volume a. Lift Handset or press HEADSET or SPEAKER button. b. Press volume button to adjust. c. To retain level, press Save soft key.

10. SPEAKER BUTTON – Hands-free mode a. Press button for hands-free access.

11. HEADSET BUTTON – The headset jack is located on the back of the phone. a. Press HEADSET button to activate.

12. MUTE BUTTON – Turn handset or speaker mic off. a. Press button (red light ‘On’) to turn off the phone microphone.

BASIC PHONE FEATURES

1. MAKING, ANSWERING AND ENDING A CALL

• Lift the handset and dial the number or answer the call or

• Press the NewCall or Answer or End Call soft key.

Dialing Internal: Dial 5-digit extension. External: Dial 9 + 7-digit number.

• Dial ¼ + extension to bypass phone and go directly to voice mail.

• Incoming calls: Press iDivert soft key to immediately divert caller to voice mail.

2. ANSWERING MULTIPLE CALLS ON ONE LINE a. When another line is ringing, select the Answer soft key. b. To return to other calls, use the Navigation Bar to highlight the call and press the Answer soft key.

3. REDIAL LAST DIALED NUMBER a. Lift the handset and press Redial soft key.

4. USING CALL HOLD a. Placing a call on hold: Highlight call and press the Hold soft key. b. Taking a call off hold: Highlight call and press Resume soft key.

5. TRANSFERRING A CALL a. With caller on line press Trnsfer soft key. b. Dial number to which you are transferring or

Dial ¼ extension/voice mailbox number to transfer directly to voice mail. c. When you hear ringing, or after you have announced the caller, press the

Trnsfer soft key.

To retrieve a held caller in the middle of the transferring process: a. Hang up or press EndCall softkey. b. Highlight call and press the Resume soft key or flashing line key.

6. CONFERENCE – Join multiple callers together. Maximum users per conference: 6 a. With a caller on the line press the more then Confrn soft keys. b. Dial internal or external telephone number. c. Wait for answer, announce conference and press Confrn soft key to add party. d. Repeat a. thru c. to enter additional attendees. a. During conference press more soft key, locate and press ConfList soft key.

Attendees will be listed. b. To remove an attendee; press the Remove soft key. Only the conference call originator can remove attendees.

ADVANCED PHONE FEATURES

1. CALL PARK (2 minute timer) A parked call can be picked up from any Cisco phone. a. With caller on line, press the more soft key, locate and press the Park soft key. b. Remember the Park number displayed at the bottom of the phone screen.

2. CALL FORWARD – Redirect phone’s primary line’s incoming calls to another phone.

Press the messages button to forward calls directly to voice mail. c. To cancel: Press CfwdAll soft key.

3 . MEET ME CONFERENCE - maximum users per conference: 6

To initiate/chair a Meet-Me Conference: a. Locate and press MeetMe softkey. b. Dial MeetMe internal or external number.

To enter a Meet-Me Conference: Dial MeetMe conference number.

Enter phone number beside ‘Speed Dial X’ and enter name after ‘Display Text’.

Select Update. If speed dial buttons are available on your phone, they will become d. your first Speed/Abbreviated Dial numbers.

Print out a copy of this list. a. To dial: Dial Abbrev. Dial number (1-99) and press AbbrDial soft key.

Select ‘Forward all calls to a different number’.

Select Line to forward.

Select Voice mail or input forwarding number.

Select Update.
