Install the Right Bracket. Make sure it is mounted to the far right side of the Printer Stand. Although
not always needed some customers remove the (Rear Motor Housing Screw), this allows you to
place the Right Bracket directly against the Printer Stand (see picture on reverse side). Once the
Right Bracket is in place as far to the right side as possible tighten the Mounting Screws. Installed
the Keyed Flange with the desired 2” or 3” flange to the inside and insert the Cotter Pin.
NOTES:
The Right Bracket is permanent and cannot be moved.
Maximum roll weight = 42lbs (19kg)
Maximum roll diameter = 6” (15cm)

Install the Left Bracket. The Left Bracket will be moved to the left and right when mounting a new
2” or 3” Core between jobs. The Core IS NOT PROVIDED with the system. Always choose a core at
least as wide, but preferably slightly wider than the media you are printing on.

Press the Two-Way Power Switch to the right for normal operation or to the left for reverse
operation.

When adjusting the tension, adjust the Clutch Tension Adjustment all the way Counter Clockwise
while printing. Adjust clockwise until the clutch allows the system to roll the media as it is fed thru
the printer but stopping/slipping when there is no excess media being fed thru the printer. Note:
This is not an exact adjustment, please do not run the system with the clutch adjusted too tight as
this can cause Banding effects in printing and will degrade the quality of the clutch in the system.
When not in use always turn the Two-Way Switch to the OFF position.
