AOL Automatic E-mail Response
…to be delivered to people who send you e-mail when you will be away from your computer and unable
to respond for a period of time.
To set up an automatic e-mail response message

Click Read on the AOL toolbar.
Click Mail Options, and then click Set Mail Away Message.
On the Mail Away Message Setup window, click On.
Choose whether to send a response that indicates only that you are unavailable or a response
that indicates you are unavailable and when you will return, and then click OK.
5. Click OK to confirm your away message settings.

To turn off your automatic mail response when you return, open your mailbox as described in
step 1 above, and then click Turn Off on the Mail Away Message Turned On window.
Each person who sends you e-mail while your automatic response is turned on will receive your
away message only once unless you change the content or end date for your away message.
