When setting, each button has a different function as indicated above. Watch face will indicate when button changes function.

TIME/DATE/HOURLY CHIME

1. In TIME mode, press and hold SET/RECALL. Time zone will flash.

2. To set, push + or – to select first or second time zone.

3. Press NEXT. Hour digits flash.

4. Press + or – to change hour including AM/PM. (Scroll through 12 hours to get to AM/PM).

5. Press NEXT. Minute digits flash.

6. Press + or – to change minutes.

7. Press NEXT. Second digits flash.

8. Press + or – to set seconds to zero.

9. Press NEXT. Day of week flashes.

10. Press + to – to change day.

11. Continue pattern to set month, day of month, 12-hour or 24-hour time display, MM.DD or

DD.MM date format, turn hourly CHIME on/off, turn BEEP on/off. If you select BEEP on, a beep will sound every time you push a button (except INDIGLO).

12. Press DONE to confirm and exit or NEXT to continue and set second time zone, if desired.

13. When in Time mode, press and hold START/SPLIT to “peek” at second time zone; hold for 4 seconds to switch time zones.

ALARM

Setting the ALARM is similar to setting TIME.

1. Press MODE repeatedly until ALARM appears.

2. Press SET/RECALL to set alarm.

3. Hour digits flash. Press + or – to change hour.

4. Press NEXT. Minute digits flash. Press + or – to change minutes.

5. Press NEXT. If in 12-hour format, AM/PM flashes. Press + or – to change.

6. Press NEXT. Press + or – to select DAILY, WEEKDAYS OR WEEKENDS.

7. Press DONE to confirm and exit.

8. Press Start/Split or Stop/Reset to arm or disarm alarm. When disarmed, OFF will be displayed. When armed, the alarm clock icon will appear .

9. The INDIGLO night-light and alarm icon flashes and an alert sounds when the alarm goes off.

Press any button to silence. A back up alarm will sound after five mintues if you don’t press any buttons.

TIMER

1. Press MODE repeatedly until TIMER appears.

2. Press SET/RECALL. Hour digits flash.

3. Follow same pattern as setting TIME and ALARM to set hours, minutes, seconds, and select between REPEAT/AT END (timer counts down and then repeats) or STOP/AT END (the timer counts down and then stops).

4. Press DONE to confirm and exit.

5. Press START/SPLIT to start TIMER. Timer will continue to run even if you exit Timer mode.

If REPEAT/END selected will flash. If STOP/END selected will flash.

6. An alarm melody will chime when the timer has reached zero or before it starts to count down again.

7. Press STOP/RESET to stop TIMER. Press again to reset to countdown time.

HEURE/DATE/CARILLON HORAIRE

10. Utiliser + ou – pour changer le jour.

11. Répéter l’opération pour régler le mois, la date, l’affichage 12/24 heures, le format MM.JJ ou

JJ.MM, l’activation ou non du carillon horaire (CHIME) ainsi que l’activation ou non du signal sonore (BEEP). Si cette dernière option est activée, la montre émettra un signal sonore à chaque fois que vous appuierez sur un bouton (sauf INDIGLO).

12. Appuyer sur DONE pour confirmer et quitter ou NEXT pour continuer et régler le deuxième fuseau horaire, si désiré.

13. En mode Heure normale, garder START/SPLIT enfoncé pour afficher brièvement le deuxième fuseau horaire; garder enfoncé durant 4 secondes pour passer à l’autre fuseau.

ALARME

Le réglage de l’alarme est similaire au réglage de l’heure.

1. Appuyer à plusieurs reprises sur MODE jusqu’à ce que ALARME apparaisse.

2. Enfoncer SET/RECALL pour régler l’alarme.

3. Les heures clignoteront. Utiliser + ou – pour changer leur réglage.

4. Enfoncer NEXT. Les minutes clignoteront. Utiliser + ou – pour changer leur réglage.

5. Enfoncer NEXT. Si la montre est en format 12 heures, AM/PM clignotera. Utiliser + ou – pour changer ce réglage.

6. Enfoncer NEXT. Utiliser + ou – pour choisir l’alarme quotidienne (DAILY), de semaine (WEEK-

DAYS) ou de fin de semaine (WEEKENDS).

7. Appuyer sur DONE pour confirmer les changements et quitter.

8. Enfoncer Start/Split ou Stop/Reset pour activer ou désactiver l’alarme. Une fois celle-ci désactivée, OFF s’affichera. L’icône de l’alarme apparaîtra lorsque celle-ci est activée.

9. L’icône de la veilleuse INDIGLO et d’alarme clignote, et une sonnerie se fait entendre lorsque l’alarme se déclenche. Enfoncer n’importe quel bouton pour la couper. Une alarme auxiliaire sonnera après cinq minutes si aucun bouton n’est enfoncé.

MINUTERIE

1. Appuyer à plusieurs reprises sur MODE jusqu’à ce que TIMER apparaisse.

2. Enfoncer SET/RECALL. Les heures clignoteront.

3. Répéter la même opération que pour le réglage de l’heure et de l’alarme. Ajuster l’heure, les minutes et les secondes puis choisir REPEAT/AT END (la minuterie s’écoule, puis recommence) ou STOP/AT END (la minuterie s’écoule puis s’arrête).

4. Appuyer sur DONE pour confirmer les changements et quitter.

5. Enfoncer START/SPLIT pour démarrer la minuterie. Celle-ci va continuer à fonctionner même si vous quittez le mode Minuterie. Si l’option REPEAT/END est choisie, clignotera. Si

STOP/END est choisi, ce sera qui clignotera.

6. Une alarme sous forme de mélodie sonnera lorsque la minuterie a atteint zéro ou avant qu’elle recommence son décompte.

7. Appuyer sur STOP/RESET pour stopper la minuterie. Enfoncer de nouveau pour remettre la minuterie à zéro.

1. En la modalidad HORA, oprima y sostenga FIJAR/VOLVER A VISUALIZAR. Se iluminará de modo intermitente la zona horaria.

2. Para fijar, oprima + o – para seleccionar la primera o segunda zona horaria.

3. Oprima PRÓXIMO. Se iluminarán de modo intermitente los dígitos de la hora.

4. Oprima + o – para cambiar la hora incluyendo AM/PM. (Avance 12 horas para llegar a AM/PM).

5. Oprima PRÓXIMO. Se iluminarán de modo intermitente los dígitos de minutos.

6. Oprima + o – para cambiar los minutos.

7. Oprima PRÓXIMO. Se iluminarán de modo intermitente los dígitos de segundos.

8. Oprima + o – para fijar los segundos a cero.

9. Oprima PRÓXIMO. Se iluminará de modo intermitente el día de la semana.

10. Oprima + o – para cambiar el día.

11. Continúe el patrón para fijar el mes, día del mes, formato de 12 o 24 horas, o formato

MM.DD o DD.MM, apagar/encender la campanilla horaria, apagar/encender el sonido intermitente (BEEP). Si selecciona BEEP encendido, escuchará un sonido cada vez que oprime un botón (salvo INDIGLO).

12. Oprima TERMINADO para confirmar y salga o PRÓXIMO para continuar y fijar la segunda zona horaria, si así lo desea.

13. Cuando esté en la modalidad HORA, oprima y sostenga COMENZAR/FRACCIÓN para “dar un vistazo” a la segunda zona horaria; sostenga durante 4 segundos para pasar de una zona horaria a la otra.

ALARMA

Fijar la ALARMA es similar a fijar la HORA.

1. Oprima MODALIDAD varias veces hasta que aparezca ALARMA.

2. Oprima FIJAR/VOLVER A VISUALIZAR para fijar la alarma.

3. Se iluminarán de modo intermitente los dígitos de hora. Oprima + o – para cambiar la hora.

4. Oprima PRÓXIMO. Se iluminarán de modo intermitente los dígitos de minuto. Oprima + o – para cambiar los minutos.

5. Oprima PRÓXIMO. Si está en el formato de 12 horas, AM/PM se iluminarán de modo intermitente. Oprima + o – para cambiar.

6. Oprima PRÓXIMO. Oprima + o para elegir DIARIO, DÍAS HÁBILES O FINES DE SEMANA.

7. Oprima TERMINADO para confirmar y salir.

8. Oprima Comenzar/Fracción o Parar/Reconfigurar para activar o desactivar la alarma. Cuando está desactivada, aparecerá Apagada. Cuando está activada, aparecerá el ícono del reloj despertador .

9. El ícono de INDIGLO night-light y de la alarma se ilumina de manera intermitente y se escucha una alerta cuando la alarma suena. Oprima cualquier botón para silenciar. Sonará una alarma de reserva cada cinco minutos si no oprime ningún botón.

CRONÓMETRO

1. Oprima MODALIDAD varias veces hasta que aparezca CRONÓMETRO.

2. Oprima FIJAR/VOLVER A VISUALIZAR. Se iluminarán de modo intermitente los dígitos de hora.

3. Siga el mismo patrón que para fijar HORA y ALARMA para fijar las horas, minutos, segundos y seleccione entre REPETIR/AL FINAL (el cronómetro hace una cuenta regresiva y luego repite) o PARAR/AL FINAL (el cronómetro hace una cuenta regresiva y luego se detiene)

4. Oprima TERMINADO para confirmar y salir.

5. Oprima COMENZAR/FRACCIÓN para comenzar el CRONÓMETRO. El cronómetro continuará funcionando aunque salga de la modalidad de cronómetro. Si seleccionó REPETIR/AL FINAL se iluminará el . Si seleccionó PARAR/AL FINAL se iluminará el .

6. Sonará una melodía de la alarma cuando el cronómetro llegue a cero o antes de que empiece de nuevo la cuenta regresiva.

7. Oprima PARAR/RECONFIGURAR para parar el CRONÓMETRO. Oprima de nuevo para reconfigurar a la cuenta regresiva.

CRONÓMETRO

1. Press MODE until CHRONO appears.

2. Press and hold SET/RECALL.

3. The Display will read: FORMAT/SET, then LAP/SPL or SPL/LAP.

4. Press + or – to select desired format.

5. Press DONE to confirm and exit.

6. To use chrono, press START/SPLIT. Chrono continues to run even if you exit the mode.

7. Press STOP/RESET to stop chronograph from running OR while chrono is running, press

START/SPLIT to take a split. Lap and split times will then be displayed in the format you selected. The lap number will alternate with the last two digits of the bottom line.

NOTES:

• Lap and split times will appear frozen for 10 seconds. Press MODE to release the display and see running chrono.

• While chronograph is running or stopped, press SET/RECALL, then press + or – to scroll through stored laps or to recall stored laps/splits. Press SET/RECALL again to return to running chronograph.

• Press and hold STOP/RESET to reset chronograph.

INDIGLO® NIGHT-LIGHT/NIGHT MODE® FEATURE

Press INDIGLO® to activate night-light. Patented (U.S. pat 4,527,096 and 4,775,964) electroluminescent technology used in INDIGLO® night-light illuminates entire watch face at night and in low light conditions. While the night-light is on pressing any button keeps it on for three seconds.

Press and hold INDIGLO for 4 seconds to activate NIGHT-MODE® Feature (U.S. pat. 4,912,688).

Moon icon will appear. Once activated, any button pushed will cause INDIGLO® night-light to stay on for 3 seconds. NIGHT-MODE® Feature will stay activated for 8 hours or until deactivated by pressing and holding INDIGLO again for 4 seconds.

3 YEAR WARRANTY

This watch is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the original date of purchase in Australia, provided it has been sold by an authorized and appointed dealer. The 3 Year Warranty only applies to the original purchase of the watch from an authorized dealer from April 1st 2001 onwards.

All watches that were purchased prior to this date are only covered by the original 1 Year Warranty. Within this period, regulation, adjustment, repair, replacement of parts or movements, or, at our option, replacement with a watch of equal value and/or similar function, will be provided at no charge within a reasonable time after watch is returned during the warranty period, provided the watch is returned together with a warranty card:

SOUS L’EAU

1. Étanche seulement si le verre, les boutons et le boîtier restent intacts.
