To program a fixed serving of coffee, press and hold down one of the two coffee dispenser buttons for at least 3 seconds. The on light flashes. At this point release the button. Once you have reached the desired amount of coffee interrupt the flow by pressing the same button as before.

Turn the steam arm so it faces away from the machine, remove the tip by pulling downwards, and wash it in a dishwasher or with water. Clean the steam arm with a wet cloth and replace the tip. Blast some steam through the steam arm for a few seconds after use to avoid the build-up of scale and possible blockages.

If the water tank runs out, the machine will stop dispensing coffee. It will also stop dispensing steam, and the pump will be very noisy. Fill the water tank with fresh drinkable water and the machine will start working again.
