To program Line A for a primary delivery, select Line A on the Delivery (A/B) screen. Then, select the drug from the drug list, enter weight (if applicable), rate and/or dose, VTBI, and duration. Confirm the program and press [START] to begin the infusion.

To titrate the rate, select Line A or Line B on the Delivery (A/B) screen. Ensure the rate/dose field is highlighted and enter a new rate/dose. Press [START] and confirm your order for accuracy.

Examine the distal line for kinks and correct any found. Resolve the distal occlusion and then either backprime or open and close the cassette door.

How is a delayed start set on the device?

  1. On the Program screen, press the Delay button. 2. Enter the desired delay time in hours and minutes (up to 23:59 hh:mm) and press Done. The Delivery screen will then display 'DELAYED' along with the set delay time.
