Frequently asked questions
To start recording, first set the Address A0-A9 to the desired memory segment. Then, toggle pin 41 (P/R*) low and subsequently toggle pin 42 (CE*) low for the duration of the recording.
To stop recording, toggle both pin 41 (P/R*) and pin 42 (CE*) high from their low state.
To play a recorded message, first set the Address A0-A9 to the memory segment you wish to play. Then, pulse pin 42 (CE*) low momentarily to start playback.
To reset the module and stop any current playback, toggle or pulse the PD pin (pin 38) high. This process is similar to resetting the chipcorder.
During recording, the EOM* signal is high. During playback, the EOM* signal is also high but pulses low whenever it reaches the end of a message.
