INSTALLATION:
Freestanding units ship with glides installed. Set in place and adjust glides to level unit.
INSERT INSTALLATION:
NOTE: Do not fully tighten any hardware until the unit is completely assembled. As hardware is installed, tighten just until snug, then loosen ½ turn. Once all hardware is installed, tighten each cap screw a small amount, in a crisscross pattern, until all screws are equally tight.
Wood and metal inserts ship installed in frame.
Install concrete inserts as shown in Fig. 1. Do not overtighten.

SURFACE MOUNT INSTALLATION:
1. Set unit in place.
2. Trace around each foot. Move unit.
3. Set anchor brackets in position. Mark hole locations. Move anchor brackets.
4. Drill holes according to anchor bolt manufacturer’s recommendations.
5. Clear holes of debris.
6. Install anchor brackets as shown in Fig 2. Anchor bracket is 3/16” thick.
7. Set unit in position, over anchor brackets.
8. Install set screws.
Corner clip
Only units with concrete inserts require some assembly. All units with metal or wood inserts ship fully assembled.
• Hardware included: (4) each per concrete insert: 1/4‐20 x 3/4” flange button head socket cap screws and 1/4” metal washers, 1/4” rubber washers, rubber corner gaskets and corner clips.

For surface mount option: (4) each surface mount brackets and (8) 1/4‐20 x 1/2” socket head set screws Tools required:
• Proper safety equipment, if necessary.
• 5/32” hex key for installing inserts • For surface mounting: (4) non‐corrosive anchor bolts, maximum 3/8” diameter
• 1/8” hex key for installing set screws for surface mount option
ASSEMBLE WITH CARE! Pangard II Polyester Powdercoat is a strong, long‐lasting finish. To protect this finish during assembly, place unwrapped powdercoated parts on packaging foam or other non‐marring surface. Do not place or slide powdercoated parts on concrete or other hard or textured surface – this will damage the finish causing rust to occur. Use touch‐up paint on any gouges in the finish caused by assembly tools.
