Call: Lift the handset, Press 9 and dial the number. Press a line button , Press 9 and dial the number Press the Speaker button, Press 9 and dial the number. Press the NewCall soft key, Press 9 and dial the number Hold: While on a call, press the Hold soft key. To return to the call, press the Resume soft key Redial: Lift the handset and press the redial soft key. Transfer: During a call, press the Transfer soft key. This places the call on hold. Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call. When you hear ringing, press Transfer again, or announce the call and press Transfer. If the party refuses the call, press the End Call soft key, then Resume soft key to return to the call. Hang up Mute: Press the Mute button. To turn off mute, press Mute again (or‐ lift the handset). To change between handset and speakerphone during a call: Handset to speakerphone: Press the speaker button and hang up the handset. Speakerphone to handset: Lift the handset. Forward all calls to another extension: Press the CFwdAll soft key. You will hear two beeps. Enter the number to which you want to forward all your calls. A flashing right arrow will appear next to your phone number on the LCD to indicate that all calls are being forwarded. Cancel forward all calls: Press the Sewall soft key. The flashing arrow will no longer display next to your phone number on the LCD, indicating that forward all calls is not active. View your recently dialed/missed/received numbers: Press the Directories button to display the Directory menu. Press the Select soft key to select the call history option. Use the large arrow scroll key to view through the list of recently dialed/missed/received numbers. Change ring: Press the Settings button to access the Settings menu. Select Ring Type options on the Settings menu. Use the scroll key to choose the desired ring type. Press Select and then press the OK soft key to save your selection. Change the contrast of the display: Press the Settings button to access the Settings menu. Press the Select soft key to select the Contrast option. Press the up and down soft key to set desired intensity of the display. Press Save to Set Conference call: During a call, press the More soft key and then the ConFrn soft key. Place a call to another person. (current caller automatically on hold) Press ConFrn again to add this person to the conference call. Repeat the first three steps to add people to the conference call. You can have up to 16 people on a conference. Voice Mail To set up voice mail: Press the messages button, enter the default password 12345 and follow the voice instructions. Press 4 for more options. To access voice mail: Press the messages button and follow the voice instructions. The red light on your handset will light when you have a voice mail message. ">
