Create a CSV file from Apple Contacts

Open the “Applications” menu
Select “Contacts”
Select the contact list you would like to export (e.g., All Contacts)
From the Contacts menu select the “File” tab top of the page
Select “Export” from the drop down list
Select “Export vCard” from the pop-up window on the right
Give your file a descriptive name, than select the location where you want to save it.
To convert the vCard contacts to a CSV file you will need to use a third party converter. One
can be found at vCard to LDIF/CSV Converter.
1. Using this converter, select the “vCard file you saved” above.
2. In the format line select “CSV” and “Comma” from the drop down lists and then check
the “Add header line” box.
3. Next to the Filter field, uncheck the box labelled “vCards with e-mail only.”
4. To finish the process select “convert to save as the CSV file.”
NOTE: Your CSV file will be saved in your Downloads folder.
