SR3100 Antenna Replacement Instructions
1. Open the case. Gently push a small flathead screwdriver into each of
the two openings on the right side of the case as shown in the picture.
Avoid inserting the screwdriver into the holes on the left side of the
case as the receiver could be damaged.
2. Remove the antenna. Lift up on the antenna close to where it
connects to the circuit board.
3. Connect the new antenna.
Align the antenna with the connector on the circuit board.
Apply a light pressure to the top of the antenna connector and it will
pop into place. DO NOT FORCE THE ANTENNA.
4. Swivel the antenna back and forth. If connected correctly, the antenna will swivel freely. If it doesn't, the
antenna is not connected correctly.
5. Find the small round cutouts in the case.
Make sure that when you replace the case that
the antenna fits into the round slots. IF YOU DO
NOT ALIGN THE SLOTS, THE ANTENNA WILL
BE DAMAGED.
6. Snap the case back together.
It should easily snap back together. If it doesn’t, check to
make sure that you have everything aligned correctly.
