Setting up your clock radio

To set up your clock radio:

1 Before use, make sure that the rated voltage of your unit matches your local voltage.

2 Open the battery compartment door on the bottom of unit and insert a 9V battery into the battery compartment.

Make sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the battery align with the + and - symbols in the battery compartment.

In case of power outage, battery backup will maintain your alarm and clock settings only.

3 Close the battery compartment door, then plug the AC

power adapter into an AC wall outlet.

Using your clock radio

When you install the battery and plug in your clock radio, the clock turns on automatically. Slide the OFF/BUZZ ALARM/RADIO ALARM/ON switch:

• To the ON position to turn your clock radio on.

• To the OFF position to turn your clock radio off.

• To the RADIO ALARM position to activate the radio alarm.

• To the BUZZ ALARM position to activate the buzzer alarm.

To set the time:

1 Press and hold the TIME button, then press the HR button to set the hour.

Press and hold the TIME button, then press the MIN button to set the minute.

Release the TIME button.

To set the alarm:

1 Press and hold the ALARM button, then press the HR button to set the hour and press the MIN button to set the

Release the ALARM button.

To wake to music:

Slide the OFF/BUZZ ALARM/RADIO ALARM/ON switch to the RADIO ALARM position.

To wake to an alarm:

Slide the OFF/BUZZ ALARM/RADIO ALARM/ON switch to the BUZZ ALARM position.

To turn off alarm

:

• Press the SNOOZE button to mute the sound for 8-9 minutes.

• Press the ALARM button to shut off the alarm.

To use the radio:

1 Slide the OFF/BUZZ ALARM/RADIO ALARM/ON switch to the ON position.

Slide the AM/FM switch to the radio band of your choice (AM or FM).

Turn the TUNING dial to tune to a station.

1 Slide the OFF/BUZZ ALARM/RADIO ALARM/ON switch to the OFF, BUZZ ALARM or RADIO ALARM position.

Press and hold the SLEEP button, then press the HR and/or

MIN button to set the sleep timer.

Release the SLEEP button. The radio turns off after the interval you set.

Press the SNOOZE button to cancel the sleep timer setting.
