Frequently asked questions
To wall mount the RA-A pedestal base, first unscrew and separate the cover from the chassis. Then, reversely replace the cover to the chassis and mount the pedestal base to a single-gang box with a cover or directly to the wall using the provided screws.
The RA-D unit is primarily designed for desk top use by inserting the provided stand and fixing it with a screw. It can also be wall mounted by removing the terminal board, pulling off the 4P connector, attaching the terminal board to the wall, and then fitting the unit onto it.
For flush mounting RA-B and RA-C units, separate the panel from the unit, attach the unit to an electrical box using the supplied screws, and then replace the panel to the unit with two screws. Ensure two holes are opened on the wall for the bosses, extending 4.5 mm (3/16) with a 9.2 mm (3/8) diameter.
The RA-A and RA-D units come with a terminal cord that is 2 meters long (6-1/2 feet).
To connect the AC power line, use a standard screwdriver to connect it to the [AC INPUT] terminals. For grounding, be sure to extend an earth-grounding wire from the [GND] terminal, as it must be earth-grounded.
When installing station units, avoid placing them in locations closely surrounded by walls or other objects that might interfere with voice-switching. Also, keep the station unit away from paging speakers to prevent acoustic feedback in paging mode.
