INSTRUCTION AND OPERATING MANUAL

RULES FOR SAFE OPERATIONS

Any power equipment can cause injury if operated improperly or if the user does not understand how to operate the equipment. Exercise caution at all times, when using power equipment. z Read this owner’s manual before attempting to assemble or operate the spiker/spreader. z Read the towing vehicle owner’s manual and know how to operate the tractor before using the spiker/spreader attachment. z Do not allow anyone to ride on or sit on the spiker/spreader. z Never allow children to operate the tractor or spiker/spreader attachment. z Do not allow adults to operate the tractor or spiker/spreader without proper instructions. z Wear eye and hand protection when handling and using lawn chemicals. z Do not drive too close to a creek or ditch and be alert for holes and other hazards which could cause you to loose control of the tractor and spiker/spreader.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION

Step 1

Pic a

(1) Insert the Bolt M12x90 on Wheels into the hole on Wheel Stand (Wheel is at the outside), then use a Nylon Lock Nut M12 for assembly. Adjust the Hex Nut M12 to make the wheel running flexible and didn’t have any interstice. Then tighten the Lock Nut and Hex Nut.

(2) Another Wheel is installed by the same way.

Step 2

Insert a Hex Bolt M8x35 with Flat Washer

Ø8 to the hole on hopper, like the picture b

showing, and assemble a Tow Bar by a Nylon Lock Nut M8. The Lock Nut should not be tightened now.

Step 3

Insert Hex Bolt M8x35 with Flat Washer

Ø8 into the hole on hopper, like the picture c showing, and assemble the other piece of Tow Bar by the Nylon Lock Nut M8. The Lock Nut should not be tightened now.

Step 4

(1) Insert the Hex Bolt M8x45 with a Flat Washer

Ø8 into the hole on hopper, like the picture d showing, then assemble the Wheel Stand and Operating Handle by a Nylon Lock Nut M8.

The Lock Nut should not be tightened now.

(2) Insert the Hex Bolt M8x20 to the other hole on the Wheel Stand and Operating Handle, and assemble them by a Nylon Lock Nut M8. The Lock Nut should not be tightened now.

Step 5

Assemble the Hopper, Tow Bar and Wheel Stand by a Hex Bolt M8x40 and a Nylon Lock Nut M8.

The Lock Nut should not be tightened now.

Step 6

(1) Assemble the two Tow Bar with 3pcs of Hex Bolt M8x60 and 3pcs of Nylon Lock Nut M8. The bolts and nuts should not be tightened now.

(2) Adjust the position of Tow Bar and Hopper. Make sure the Operating Handle can work smoothly. Then tighten all the bolts and nuts from the picture b to f.

Step 7

(1) Use 2pcs of Hex Bolt M8x45 and 2pcs of Nylon Lock Nut M8 to assemble the Hitch Brackets, tighten the Nylon Lock Nut M8. ( Refer picture g)

(2) Insert the Male Pin into the hole of Hitch Brackets, then lock them by a R Pin

Ø3x75.

Step 8

Insert the Round Head Bolt M8x40 into the handle groove besides the Hopper, put a Big Flat

Washer

Ø10 on top and tighten it by a Wing Nut M10. It is used to adjust position of the Handle.

Step 9

Insert the Hex Bolt M6x20 from the inside and install the Support Shelves inside the Hopper, then tighten it by a Nylon Lock Nut M6. (Refer picture i)

Step 10

(1) Take out the Hex Bolt M6x30 on the Adjusting Handle. ( Refer picture j)

(2) Assemble the Adjusting Handle to the Handle Groove from beneath. ( Refer picture k).

Step 11

(1) Put the Hex Bolt M6x30 into another hole on Support Shelves, then assemble the Handle by the Nylon Lock Nut M6 which take out in last step. ( Refer picture l)

(2) Take the Cotter Pin

Ø3x40 out of the connecting screw rod. Insert the head of screw rod to the position A showed in picture l, then fit the Cotter Pin and bend it.

(3)

Put the hook of the spring to the position B which showed in picture l. Please refer picture m of the results.

OPERATION

How to use your spiker/spreader?

1.

Determine the approximate square footage of the area to be covered and estimate the amount of fertilizer or seed required.

2.

Move the spreader to the area where application is to begin.

3. Loosen the plastic wing nut and move it to the desired setting. Retighten the nut.

4. Making sure the flow control lever is in the “OFF” position, fill the hopper, breaking up any lumps.

5. Lower the aerator spikes to the operating position.

6. Start the spreader in motion and then move the flow control lever to the “ON” position as you travel across your lawn. The recommended towing speed is 3 m.p.h.

7. Do not make sharp turns with spikes in the ground

8. Raise aerator spikes to transport position when crossing over concrete or other hard surfaces.

9. Do not aerate if the ground is extremely hard or dry. If ground is too dry, sprinkle or water for one to two hours prior to use.

10. Do not aerate if the ground is too wet (muddy)
