PROSONAR © IPU1100 Phono-USB-Interface is your best gateway between the worlds of analogue and digital audio! Simply connect the IPU1100 to any turntable with MM (moving magnet) pickup cartridge, and you get correct,

RIAA-compliant pre-amplification of the cartridge signal, presented to either a headphones output, a stereo line output or the USB output.

- Listen to your vinyl records through your home HiFi system using the line out connection of the IPU1100. This solves the problem that many of today’s HiFi systems do not offer a phono input anymore.

- Listen to your favorite vinyl tracks on your headphones without the need for any additional equipment. Perfect if your turntable has been banned from the living room where your home HiFi system is located.

- Record your most valuable vinyl treasures in 16-Bit high-definition digital audio quality to your PC and burn the resulting wave-files to CD or convert to MP3 for infinite mobile fun! (software not included).

- Replay your computer-stored audio files through the high-definition converters of the IPU1100.

The IPU1100 is designed and built by professional audio engineers. The highly refined circuit, built of precision components, comes in an ultra-rugged metal case for years of worry-free use. Besides being able to be entirely powered by the USB bus of a connected computer, the IPU 1100 can also work stand-alone, powered by the included AC travel adaptor.

The input can be switched between phono (RIAA equalized) and line sensitivity, so that you can record analogue sources of any level. A stereo RCA output socket allows to connect your home HiFi-system and a high-current headphones output provides enough power to headphones even with low impedance properties.
