3. Lieferumfang
Die EasySat Systeme sind hochwertige Beschallungssysteme,
die die vielfältigen Wünsche der Anwender erfüllen. Im
mobilen wie auch im stationären Betrieb sind Beschallungen
mit minimalem Zeitaufwand realisierbar. Das professionelle
Konzept ist durch seine leichte Bedienbarkeit für jeden Musiker
auch ohne besondere Vorkenntnisse nutzbar. Die
praxisgerechten Bedienelemente und das robuste Gehäuse
unterstützen den Anwender bei jedem Einsatzzweck.
Ihr EasySat System besteht aus folgenden Komponenten:

Dieses Gerät ist gemäß den VDE-Schutzmaßnahmen für
elektronische Geräte gebaut und geprüft. Es hat das Werk
in sicherheitstechnisch einwandfreiem Zustand verlassen.
Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen, beachten Sie bitte sowohl die allgemein üblichen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen als auch die Hinweise und Warnvermerke in dieser Bedienungsanleitung.

Das Gerät entspricht den derzeit gültigen Normen des
EMV-Gesetzes. Dies wird durch das am Gerät angebrachte
CE-Zeichen bescheinigt.

Sie sich für Reparaturen an einen qualifizierten Techniker.

System gehörenden Teile enthält. Falls etwas fehlt, wenden Sie

4. Beschreibung
4.1. Allgemeines
Plug & Play - EasySat Systeme
EasySat Systeme sind passive Systeme. Benötigt wird lediglich
ein handelsüblicher Powermixer oder eine Stereoendstufe, um
die Bass- und Satellitenboxen (Mittel-Hochtonboxen) zu
betreiben. Der Powermixer bzw. die Stereoendstufe wird mit
2 Speakonkabeln (Belegung 1+/1-) an den Bass angeschlossen.
Die Satellitenboxen werden ebenfalls mit jeweils einem
Speakonkabel (Belegung 1+/1-) an den Bass angeschlossen.
Alles weitere erledigt für Sie die integrierte FrequenzweichenElektronik. Bass- und Satellitenboxen sind damit perfekt
aufeinander abgestimmt. Sie benötigen 2-adrige Speakonkabel.
Die Satellitenboxen können auch ohne Bassbox an einen
Power-Mixer angeschlossen werden.
Der optional erhältliche Controller FC•3PRO, 19“ 1 HE, schützt
das komplette System. (Siehe Kurzbeschreibung auf Seite 4)
4.2. Empfohlenes Zubehör
kann die Sicherheit beeinträchtigt sein. Setzen Sie das Gerät
außer Betrieb und kennzeichnen Sie es.
Sichern Sie das Gerät so gegen unbeabsichtigten Betrieb, daß es
nicht versehentlich von Dritten wieder in Betrieb genommen
werden kann.

4.3. Bedienelemente (Siehe Seite 6)
(7) Schalter (Modus - Bassbox einstellen)
Sämtliche Anschlüsse bzw. Bedienelemente befinden sich an
der Rückseite der Lautsprecherboxen. Alle Boxen sind mit
praktischen Tragegriffen ausgestattet. Transportrollen an den
Bassboxen ermöglichen den leichten Transport.
Versenkt angebrachter Modus-Schalter als Schutz vor
Fehlbedienung. An diesem Schalter wird die intern
eingebaute Frequenzweiche von Stereo Betrieb mit einer
Bassbox auf den Betrieb mit zwei Bassboxen umgeschalten.
Bitte achten Sie stets auf die richtige Stellung dieses Schalters.
(1) Speakonbuchsen in den Sat-Boxen (Belegung 1+/1-)
(2) Anschlußbuchsen für die Satellitenboxen. Bitte verwenden
1 x bassbox
Versenkt angebrachten Schalter (7) mittels spitzem
Gegenstand z.B. Schreibstift drücken:
>Statusanzeige wird schwarz.
Sie handelsübliche Speakonkabel, bei denen das 1er
System verdrahtet ist. Beide Buchsen sind intern parallel
verbunden. Eine der beiden Buchsen kann zum Anschluß
(weiterschleifen >thru) einer weiteren Satellitenbox
verwendet werden. Die minimale Impedanz der Systeme
beträgt je 4 Ohm pro Seite (linker + rechter Kanal). Das
heißt Sie können jederzeit zwei Satellitenboxen mit jeweils
8 Ohm pro Seite anschließen.
(3) Speakonanschlußbuchse in der Bassbox ch1
Diese Speakonbuchse wird mittels eines handelsüblichen
Speakonkabels mit dem Ausgang der Endstufe verbunden.
Wenn Sie mit zwei Bassboxen arbeiten bleibt diese Buchse
unbenutzt. (Belegung 1+/1-)

Diese Speakonbuchse wird mittels eines handelsüblichen
Speakonkabels mit dem Ausgang der Endstufe verbunden.
Arbeiten Sie mit zwei Bassboxen, wird nur diese Buchse
verwendet. Buchse (3) bleibt unbenutzt. (Belegung 1+/1-)
(5) Speakonanschlußbuchse in der Bassbox für Sat-Boxen
Anschlußbuchse für die Satellitenbox. Bitte verwenden Sie
handelsübliche Speakonkabel, bei denen das 1er System
verdrahtet ist. Die minimale Impedanz der Systeme beträgt
je 4 Ohm pro Seite (linker + rechter Kanal). Das heißt Sie
können jederzeit zwei Satellitenboxen mit jeweils 8 Ohm
pro Seite anschließen. Wenn Sie mit zwei Bassboxen

4.2. Option: Controller FC•3PRO
Kurzbeschreibung:
Der FC•3PRO ist eine 2-Weg-Stereo Frequenzweiche mit
integriertem 3-Band Limiter für Bass-, Mitten- und
Hochtonbereich. Die Betriebsmodi Fullrange-Stereo, 2-WegStereo, Mono-Bass sind auf der Rückseite des Gerätes
schaltbar. Ein Potentiometer zur Anpassung des Basspegels
an den Pegel der Mittel-Hochtonlautsprecher und das
Potentiometer für eine Hornkorrektur befinden sich auf der
Vorderseite des Gerätes. Der Bassregler ermöglicht Ihnen die
Lautstärke des Basses während des Spielens jederzeit der
Raum- und Musiksituation anzupassen.
Die interne Signalbearbeitung erfolgt analog.
Zur Anpassung an die verwendeten Lautsprecher sind
jeweils 16 digital gespeicherte Presets für Basslautsprecher
und Mittel-Hochtonlautsprecher abrufbar. Diese Presets
wurden bereits werksseitig einprogrammiert.
Die Anpassung des Controllers an die verwendeten
Endstufen erfolgt durch das CAS Verfahren. Über ein
handelsübliches Lautsprecherkabel mit 4-pol Speakonstecker
werden die Verstärkung und die maximale Ausgangleistung
der Endstufen durch den internen Computer gemessen.
Die Messung erfolgt auf Knopfdruck vor dem Anschluß der
Lautsprecher an die Endstufen und ist ohne technische
Vorkenntnisse und ohne Lärmerzeugung innerhalb von 60
Sekunden abgeschlossen. Die gemessenen Verstärkerdaten
werden mit den 32 Presets verrechnet und in einem
EEPROM abgespeichert. Die Daten bleiben auch nach
Abschalten der Netzspannung mindestens 40 Jahre
gespeichert. Es ist dazu keine Batterie im Gerät notwendig.
Nach Abschluß der Messung ist keine Sense-Leitung mehr
nötig.
Über Leuchtdioden wird angezeigt, welcher Kanal
erfolgreich vermessen wurde.

6.1. Aufstellung der EasySat Systeme

Um eine möglichst gleichmäßige Beschallung bzw. Sprachverständlichkeit bis in die hinteren Reihen des Zuschauerraumes
zu erreichen, müssen die Satellitenboxen möglichst hoch aufgestellt sein. Dabei benötigen Sie Lautsprecherstative. Von jedem
Sitz- bzw. Stehplatz aus sollten die Satellitenboxen gut zu sehen
sein. Personen oder Gegenstände sollten den Schall der Satellitenboxen nicht absorbieren.
Für die optimale Ausrichtung der FH08-Mini und FH3 NDTop40 steht zusätzlich die Stativschwenkgabel SHM1 bzw.
VT-3 zur Verfügung. Mittels eines Lautsprecherstativs und der
Stativgabel kann die Lautsprecherbox hoch montiert und nach
unten auf die Zuhörer geneigt (gerichtet) werden.
Hilfreich ist die Vorstellung, die Satellitenboxen wären
„Scheinwerfer“ die jeden Zuhörer beleuchten.

Für die optimale Ausrichtung der FH08-Mini, FH1-Entertainer
bzw. der FH3 ND-Top40 als Bodenmonitor, legen Sie die Box
auf die abgeschrägte Seitenwand.
Verbinden Sie die Lautsprecherausgänge der Endstufe bzw.
des Powermixers mit den Speakonbuchsen (3)+(4) an der
Rückseite der Bassbox.
Verbinden Sie die Satellitenboxen mit den
Lautsprecherausgängen (5)+(6) an der Bassbox.
Überprüfen Sie vor dem Einschalten der Endstufe die
Schalterstellung (7).
Schalten Sie die Endstufe bzw. den Powermixer ein.

Der zulässige Umgebungstemperaturbereich während des
Betriebes reicht von -5°C bis +40°C.
Während der Lagerung oder des Transports darf die Temperatur zwischen -15°C und +40°C betragen.
Hat sich während des Transports oder der Lagerung Tau
auf dem Gerät oder seiner Rückwand gebildet, lassen Sie
das Gerät ca. 2 Stunden aklimatisieren, bevor Sie es in
Betrieb nehmen.
Der Lautsprecher ist zum Betrieb in einer trockenen Umgebung mit normalem Staub- und Feuchtigkeitsgehalt der Luft
bestimmt. Setzen Sie das Gerät niemals aggressiven chemischen Flüssigkeiten oder Dämpfen aus.
Sie können das Gerät in jeder beliebigen Lage aufstellen.
Bitte achten Sie darauf, daß der Schallaustritt an den
Bassboxen frei bleibt.
Verpolte Audio-Kabel führen zum Abschalten
der angeschlossenen Endstufen!
6.2. Vermeidung von akustischen Rückkopplungen

Endstufen in Brückenschaltung dürfen nicht
angeschlossen werden!
Beim Betrieb mit Mikrofon kann eine akustische Rückkopplung
auftreten, die sich in schrillem Pfeifen des Lautsprechers äußert.
Um Rückkopplungen zu vermeiden,

Achten Sie darauf, daß das Mikrofon möglichst hinter bzw.
weit genug von den Lautsprecherboxen steht, um
Rückkopplung zu vermeiden.
Achten Sie darauf, den Mikrofonkopf nicht direkt auf den
Lautsprecher zu richten.
Achten Sie darauf, den Mikrofonkopf nicht mit der Hand
abzudecken.
Beginnt der Lautsprecher trotzdem zu pfeifen, drehen Sie
die Lautstärke des Mikrofons am Mischpult zurück, bis das
Pfeifen aufhört.
7. Reinigung
Die Lautsprechergehäuse können Sie mit einem feuchten Tuch
abstauben.

EasySat systems are high-quality sound systems that meet the
varied requirements of the user. Sound can be generated with
minimal effort, both in mobile and stationary applications. The
ease of operation of this professional concept means that it can
be used by every musician without any special previous
experience. The practical controls and robust housing provide
the user with support in every area of application.
Your EasySat system consists of the following components:

This equipment is built and tested in accordance with VDE
protective measures for electronic equipment safety. It
leaves the factory 100% technically safe. In order to
maintain this and guarantee safe operation, please observe
both the standard general safety precautions and the
instructions and warnings included in these user
instructions.

(electromagnetic compatibility) law that currently apply.
This is certified by the CE mark affixed to the equipment.

The equipment does not contain parts that can be repaired
by the user. To avoid the danger or fire or electric shocks,

4. Description
4.1. General
Plug & Play - EasySat Systeme
EasySat systems are passive systems. Only a standard power
mixer or a stereo amplifier is required to operate the bass and
satellite speakers (mid-high speakers). The power mixer and the
stereo amplifier are both connected to the subwoofers via two
Speakon cables (configuration 1+/1-). Each satellite speaker is
also connected to the subwoofer via a Speakon cable
(configuration 1+/1-). The integral crossover electronics do the
rest for you. Subwoofers and satellite speakers are therefore
perfectly balanced. You require 2-wire Speakon cables.
The satellite speakers can also be connected to a power mixer
without a subwoofer.
The optional FCï3PRO controller, 19“ 1 HE, protects the entire
system. (See brief description on page 4)
4.2. Recommended accessories

All connections and controls are located on the rear of the
speaker. All speakers are fitted with practical carrying handles.
Speaker transport wheels enable easy transport.
(7) Switch (mode - subwoofer settings)
Recessed mode switch to protect from incorrect use. This
switch is for switching the integral crossover from stereo
mode with one subwoofer to a mode using two subwoofers.

4.2. Option: Controller FC•3PRO
Brief description:
The FC•3PRO is a 2-way stereo crossover with integral 3band limiter for bass, mid and high frequencies. The
fullrange stereo, 2-way stereo and mono-bass modes can be
selected from the back of the unit. There are two
potentiometers located on the front of the unit that are for
adjusting the bass level to that of the mid-high loudspeaker
and for horn correction. The bass controller enables you to
adjust the volume of the bass at any time to suit the room
size or the music.
Internal signal processing is analogue.
There are 16 digital stored subwoofer and mid-high speaker
presets available for configuring the unit to incorporate the
speakers being used. These presets were programmed during
manufacture.
The CAS procedure is used when configuring the controller
to incorporate the amplifiers. The volume and the maximum
output power of the amplifiers are measured by an integral
computer via a standard speaker cable with 4-pin Speakon
connector.
Measuring is carried out simply by pressing a button before
the speakers are connected to the amplifiers; no previous
technical knowledge is required, no sound is generated and
the process takes no longer than 60 seconds. The measured
amplifier data are calculated in combination with the 32
presets and are stored in an EEPROM. The data is also stored
after the power is switched off and can remain stored for a
minimum of 40 years. The unit does not require a battery to
store this data.
Once the measuring process is completed, a sensing line is
no longer required.
LEDs indicate which channels were measured successfully.

In order to attain the most balanced sound possible and ensure
that speech can be understood in the back row at the venue, the
satellite speakers must be mounted as high up as possible. You
will require speaker stands for this.The satellite speakers should
be easily visible from every seat and standing space. People or
objects should not absorb the sound from the satellite speakers.

The SHM1 and VT-3 swivel stand are also available to face the
speakers in an optimized direction. The speaker stand and the
stand fork mean that the speaker can be raised and directed
downwards towards the audience.
It may help to think of the satellite speakers as headlights that
shine on every member of the audience.
When using the speaker as a ground monitor, lay it on the
chamfered side panel in order to face the FH08-Mini, FH1Entertainer or the FH3 ND-Top40 in an optimized direction.
Connect the speaker outputs from the amplifier or the
power mixer to Speakon jacks (3)+(4) on the rear of the
subwoofer.
Connect the satellite speakers to speaker outputs (5)+(6) on
the subwoofer.
Check switch position (7) before switching on the
amplifier.
Switch the amplifier or the power mixer on.

The permitted ambient temperature during operation is
between -5°C and +4°C.
The unit may be stored or transported at a temperature of
between -15°C and +40°C.
If during transport or storage, dew forms on the unit, in
particular on the back panel, leave it to acclimatize for
approx. 2 hours before using it.
The speaker should be operated in a dry environment with
normal dust and moisture levels in the air. Do not expose
the unit to aggressive chemical liquids or vapors.
The unit can be set up in any position. Please make sure
that the point of sound output on the subwoofers is kept
free.
Wrongly connected audio cables cause the
connected amplifiers switch off!
6.2. Avoiding acoustic feedback

Bridge-connected amplifiers should not be
connected up.
Operating with a microphone can cause acoustic feedback,
where the speaker produces shrill whistles.To avoid feedback:

Make sure that the microphone is as far behind or away
from the speakers as possible in order to avoid feedback.
Avoid directing the head of the microphone towards the
speakers.
Avoid covering the head of the microphone with your
hand.
If the speaker still whistles, turn down the microphone
volume at the mixing desk until the whistling stops.
7. Cleaning
Use a damp cloth to remove dust from the speaker housing.
