The FS100 is a controller for small-sized manipulators, whereas the FS100L is a controller for large and medium-sized manipulators. They both have the same features regarding MotomanSync PC.

The FS100 controller can be connected to a commercial PC via Ethernet, using a shielded category 5 or higher Ethernet cable. The controller has an RJ-45 connector (CN2 or CN3) on the front of the main CPU board.

The hardware key (USB type) is required for using MotomanSync PC. It needs to be connected to the PC before using MotomanSync PC and the hardware key driver must be installed before connecting the key.

To enable the MotomanSync function, you need to start the controller in maintenance mode, set the mode to "MANAGEMENT MODE", and then go to "SYSTEM", "SETUP", "OPTION FUNCTION", "DETAIL" of "MotomanSync". Inside "DETAIL", you need to set the "FUNCTION" to "ENABLE".
