Robust and powerful

Origo™ Mig 4001i are your ideal partners when it comes to efficient production or prefabrication of high alloyed materials with a very high demand on the welding performance.

The power sources are compact and sturdy pieces of equipment with a chassis made of galvanised steel to withstand the rigours of everyday industrial use.

The design of these power sources is based on inverter IGBT technology which ensures a combination of reliability and outstanding welding characteristics.

The communications and control CAN-bus system means less cables, which in turn increases operational reliability.

ESAB LogicPump. The patented ESAB LogicPump, ELP automatically starts the cooling water pump in the machine when a water cooled torch is connected to the wire feeder

Origo™ Feed 3004/4804w, Aristo™ Feed 3004/4804w or

YardFeed 2000w. This eliminates the risk of over-heating the welding torch. When a self-cooled torch is used, the pump is automatically shut off giving lower operating noise levels and potentially, a longer working life for the cooling pump.

Flexibility

The power sources are optimised to operate together with the wire feeders Origo™ Feed 3004/4804, Aristo™ Feed

3004/4804 or YardFeed 2000. Connection cables up to 50 m provides a working radius of up to 54,5 m.

The TrueArcVoltage System™, in combination with an ESAB

PSF™ torch, guarantees that you weld with the correct arc voltage independent of any voltage drop in the welding cables.

This means that you will get the same arc voltage and weld result either you have a set-up with short connection cable and

3m torch or a set-up with 35m working radius.

Origo™ Mig 4001i allows the choice of following processes;

MIG/MAG, Pulse MIG , MMA and Carbon Arc Gouging. The choice of processes is related to the different control panels.

Origo™ A24 for extended functionality

Origo™ Mig 4001i A24 is prepared to power either the standard

Feed 3004/4804 or the arc voltage feeder MobileFeed. The Dual

MMC software allow two individual MMC panels to operate simultaneously on the CANbus system. A24 will support the

MobileFeed in CC and CV mode and the feeder panels MA23,

MA24 and U6.

Aristo™ U8 for advanced applications

Aristo™ U8 provides a quick access to synergic setting. More than 200 pre-programmed synergic lines are available. Welding based on pre-programmed synergic data reduce the preparation before start to a minimum.

The memory provides additional functionality and the capacity to store up to 255 welding parameters which can be recalled when ever needed. A number of soft buttons with flexible functions provide direct access to Hot start, crater fill, 2/4-stroke etc.

The service organisation will offer standardised solutions for the reconditioning or modification of existing products.

Spare and wear parts are manufactured according to ESAB’s quality plan. Exchange Printed Circuit Board (PCB), exchange modules and components are available for all our products in order to reduce downtime to an absolute minimum. ESAB is continuously upgrading authorised service partners for local service support. Customers who have their own service and maintenance personnel will always be offered a service-training package as part of a total ESAB offering.
