Jasco 59797 Instruction Manual

Instructions:
1) Shut off power to the
circuit at fuse box or circuit
breaker. Remove wall plate
and test to be sure power
has been completely
disconnected.
2) Remove old switch and
outlet from wall box and
disconnect wires. If metal
tab between
terminal screws
was removed
from old
device,
remove
from new
switch.*
3) Disconnect
wires
from old
device. Be
sure wires
are stripped to
3/4".
Form wires 3/4 around
terminal screws [do not
overlap).

4) Connect wires to new
switch as shown,
forming wire clockwise
3/4 around screw.
Tighten screws securely.
Connect grounding
(green or bare) wire to
GREEN
screw on new switch,
and tighten screw.
5) Insert newly wired
switch into the wall
box. Fasten
with mountin
SCrews
provided.
6) Attach a
standard
2-outlet
wall
plate.
Restore
power.
