You can change the default powerup screen to A-Scan or Pachymeter mode by accessing the A-Scan Setup page. Press OPTIONS (F3) from the A-Scan mode and select Setup... . Select the desired mode and press OK (F2).

The A-Scan Setup page allows you to configure parameters like the speed of sound and lens thickness. You can access this page by pressing OPTIONS (F3) from the A-Scan mode and selecting Setup... .

Press the CLEAR key and select the desired option from the on-screen prompt. You can clear specific sections like A-Scan, Pachymeter, or IOL, or you can clear the entire unit. Selecting Cancel will abort the clear procedure.

Use a polystyrene test block that simulates an aphakic axial length of 24.10 ± 0.25mm.

The A-Scan mode is used to obtain axial length measurements, while the Pachymeter mode is used to measure the thickness of the cornea.
